Outstanding

Feb 25th, 2020

The hotels location is perfect, everything is close by, or takes you a few minutes to reach your destination. All the staff were amazing, and respectful. They always smile and are always happy to help. The rooms are big and perfect, and the bed is comfortable. Also housekeepers come twice a day, and when they're down they put some sweet on your bed. The breakfast is amazing, the food is great. I want to greatly thank the staff members, especially Ismail, he was very helpful, he helped me with our tour and planned all of them. I will come back to this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

6 stars staff

Feb 16th, 2020

The hotel is very well located, near the central station and downtown. The best thing is the staff. The receptionists Harritet, Cynthia, Anna and Ekaterina were very professional at all times. Also the breakfast staff was very effective. I totally recommend it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Expected more... dirty room... not a 4 / 5 star

Feb 15th, 2020

When I arrived despite me booking a double bed specifically, I got two twins. The front desk tried to upsell me immediately for a club room and breakfast for 50 EUR - which wasn’t worth it. The room was dinghy, carpet covered on stains accentuated by artificial light, tables and side tables with drink stains on them and drinking glasses fresh from the person before. I was too tired to complain after a long day... nor should I have too. When I checked out and mentioned my disappointment the receptionist happily brushed it off saying they were refurbishing so it’s not a problem. It WAS a problem... I don’t care about next time as I won’t be back. The gym at the hotel is good however. not a 4 / 5 star hotel.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hotel needs a reservation soon

Feb 14th, 2020

I spent a night in the Renaissance during a trade fair in Amsterdam. The hotel is excellently situated and that is probably also the main asset of this hotel. The welcome at the reception was extremely friendly. The rooms are getting on in years and mainly the bathroom really needs to be renovated soon. It was extremely cold in the room, because there is a draught through the windows, which are not really tight anymore. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location.. becoming a bit dated

Feb 12th, 2020

Have been to this hotel around 7 times over the last 10 years.. always enjoyed my stays. This time I stayed for 2 nights.. on the first night I arrived very late (just before midnight) but was checked in immediately and off to bed, next morning as I always do in hotels I remove any currency that isn't for the country I'm in and leave it on the side. Breakfast was included in my booking but I probably wouldn't pay for it if it wasn't although the choice was great it wasn't the best. Return to my room after a day of exploring and the money I left has disappeared.. (yes I should have put it in the safe but it was just some GBP's) Mention to reception who say they will investigate.. never heard again. Asked upon checkout but that person wasn't aware and I needed to make a move... to be honest it was just under £20 but its just the principle - maybe I'm naïve leaving it on the side. Overall the hotel is perfectly located from Central station and easily within everything you want to get to via foot and tram. Hotel itself appears to not really be of value for money and rooms are becoming very dated, TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
