Pretty good

Room nice. Service horrible. No printers to print a boarding pass. Room was never cleaned or beds made. Had to call and ask at 5pm. Good location. Good food near by. Atwood pizza is a must. Walkable to georgia tech. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Incredible spot!

Fantastic bar with amazing servers. A great selection with lots to enjoy. Food is really good as well but the drinks take the cake. Shoutout to Alex for the dirty martinis! A must get if you’re in Atlanta. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The best midtown drink spot!

Feb 8th, 2020

Everyone is so friendly and eager to make a great night. Food is good but the best part is the drinks. Alex was the best bartender! I’m picky on my dirty martinis and he made a great one! We will be back no doubt. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great service! Most Comfy Bed!

Jan 22nd, 2020

My second morning at the Renaissance I woke up with a horrible headache and called for room service to nurse back to health before a busy day of meetings. Tonya, at the front desk helped make sure my order included everything I needed and I was so grateful to her for her help. What very kind and thoughtful service she provided. I needed a late check out that was approved and then to have my bags stowed for the duration of my meetings before flying out the same day. Maybe my headache caused me to leave behind a couple items of value. I wasn’t able to call for them until many hours later when I got home. The Loss Prevention department did not have them in their possession yet so I was promptly transferred to Debra, the manager of housekeeping. She immediately offered to go straight to the room that I had occupied and called me back within minutes to say that she retrieved all three small items and that loss prevention would be calling me shortly to arrange their return. John, the gentleman from Loss Prevention and who called me three times within two days before I was finally able to pick up the phone, was also so very kind and professional and assured me that my items would be going out in the mail right away. Thank you John! I had two of the best omelettes I ever had each morning, one at the Rowdy Tiger and the next morning as room service. Be sure to check out the meat lovers three-meat omelette and ask for vegetables instead of pork sausage. Best ever! The omelette also arrived very quickly and the young man who delivered it to 1701 on Sunday morning was equally so professional although he had to hand my bill to me through the door and wait there until I went back in the bathroom while he placed the tray because I only had towels to wear. I thought I would’ve had more time to dress but that’s how quick the service was thanks to Tanya and that young man. Retrieving my bag among several hundred due to the conference, proved to be an understandable challenge for the sweet young man wearing a knit cap. But he was unrelenting and was so cute and happy when he finally produced it. I was down to my last cash dollar but I wish I had had more to offer him. I appreciated his perseverance. The only glitch was our check in. I had called very early the day of our arrival and spoke to Gillian. I asked if we could have our rooms on the same floor and she took the names of the persons in our party but when we arrived, late and very tired from a long flight, there was no record of my request and we were scattered all over the hotel. Perhaps it couldn’t be avoided but it would’ve been nice to have had our rooms pre-assigned since I alerted her of our anticipated late arrival. As the group leader, I was very disappointed but the woman who helped with my check in was able to get my room and one other’s on the same floor. I think she may have upgraded me to a higher floor and with a bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower. I appreciated the gesture. I also will say that the mattress in the room was one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on — rivaled only by the Westin‘s “heavenly bed“. I woke up with out any of the aches and pains I usually wake up with and now I’m shopping for a new mattress for my own home. Perhaps the management will share the secret of their amazing mattresses with me…? Thank you John, Tanja, Deborah and the others who made my visit so hospitable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very Nice Hotel

Jan 5th, 2020

Stayed at this hotel for a business trip. Very close to GT campus, Mercedes Benz Arena, and many restaurants in walking distance. The hotel also has a bar on the roof that also has great views. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting the heart of Atlanta. This will be my go to location when visting. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
