Very good with spotty housekeeping

Jul 17th, 2019

Hotel is beautiful, rooms are great. Good, friendly service at desk and bars. Valet was hustling. Just 2 issues Housekeeping was not attentive and forgot things like creamer or coffee or washcloths. And the second floor, where the concierge lounge is located, is open to the lobby. Looks nice, but the lobby bar was still Loud enough to wake me up at 1230 on a Friday night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

comfort

Jul 3rd, 2019

Our bags were taken right away and bottled water offered. Quick check in and very attentive staff. Very lovely surroundings and rooms were large and clean. The breakfast had a very large variety of foods from which to choose. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

What a great hotel!

Jun 25th, 2019

What a lovely hotel in an incredible building! I'm a historian so this place was a dream. My partner and I weren't there long enough to enjoy the bar/restaurant, but both looked very fine indeed. The room amenities were great, location perfect, and the check in/out experience seamless. There was one front desk guy who made an impression (I think his name was Hunter?) as one of the most professional, accommodating, and kind people I've encountered while traveling anywhere; he definitely set a positive tone for our experience in Denver. We'll be returning to this hotel for sure! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent service

Jun 24th, 2019

The hotel is gorgeous. Its located in the old Colorado National Bank. The staff here really make you feel welcome. From the front desk, to the bartender, to the valet everyone really does there best to make sure your stay is memorable. If your a Marriott member, the breakfast/parking package is the way to go. The rooms are very clean and if you can get a corner room with a view its spectacular. I would even my stay was higher than some of my JW Marriott experiences I have had. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Bad for business travel

Jun 18th, 2019

I arrived early — a little before noon — and there were no rooms available in which to check in, despite my reservation. Fair enough, I was several hours earlier than is normal for check in. So I left my bag and attended to the business that brought me to town in the first place. That kept me out until 11:30pm, when I returned to complete my check in and learned that the only room available was on the “first” floor. The first floor is directly off the lobby and below street level. Technically, there is a window but it starts six feet off the ground and is about two feet high. Basically, it’s a $300 a night basement. Why they’d bother having rooms that anyone would be disappointed to be put in is beyond me, but they’ve lost a customer. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
