Be AWARE

Aug 12th, 2019

I’m currently staying at the Renaissance hotel and it definitely needs to be upgraded. My first room had a roach in the bathroom tub . I called to the front desk at 6am and they did switch my room . I had to move all my stuff at that time since the bell man didn’t come to work until 8am which was fine . Housekeeping did not clean my room that I have now moved to. I had to call to the front desk twice, once at 2pm and was told housekeeping don’t leave until 5pm so give them time and the 2nd time I called was at 5:45pm and was told they will call housekeeping. Housekeeping never came to my room. Overall the staff has been nice, but I would not recommend this hotel to stay at in the French quarters. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Views Galore

Just a gorgeous view and such hospitality! The room service was outstanding. The restaurant (Tackle Box ) was over the top . I stayed here 4 days and each day was filled with adventure as everything was so close and walking distance. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

VERY nice hotel.

My overall experience at the Renaissance Hotel was Excellent! Semi-confusing entrance to the hotel, until you get used to the surrounding area. Valet and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The refrigerator in my room did not work, and the room also did not have a microwave. The hotel's location is great for exploring the city, especially the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Historic, Elegant & Fantastic Staff

Jul 23rd, 2019

Stayed here while experiencing New Orleans with my friend and her college-age daughters. We had a great girls' long weekend trying out the NOLA cooking school, several historic tours, shopping and foodie dining. The staff and the comfy, lovely ambiance of the Pere Marquette Renaissance was the cherry on top. Staff were all so helpful from with the shining star, Thaddeus, the concierge who took such great care of us; the bell captain who gave us best walking directions every morning; attentive housekeeping; front desk staff; coffee barista - everyone was just so amazing. There is absolutely nothing I would change in this special home away from home. The cool, refreshing infused water dispenser that was filled and ready each time we came in from the heat outside was fabulous. Thanks for thinking about everything! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! What an AWESOME PLACE..

Jul 11th, 2019

I Stayed at this Amazing Hotel for 4 days, Walking in the door I met one of the most Amazing people, with a smile that can illuminate the whole lobby name Yvonne. No Her name is Yvette(Smile) From the moment I walked in the doors, I started talking to her, I started harassing and having fun with her, after a 5.5 hour Motorcycle ride the most important thing to any bike is a good shower and a friendly smile when arriving where we going. Yvette and the young lady that check me in that day,(Blond) was great, the room was Heavenly, as my time there continued, I met one nice man at the Oyster bar who's as fun an entertaining as they come, another young lady at the restaurant that's Jazzy Sassy, name Krystal is as sweet as they come, her bark is far louder.. Before my time there ended I met the GM, Can't remember her name, Not only is she beautiful inside, she's equally beautiful outside, She's warm, sweet, just as loose and fun as the rest of her staff. If you travelling to NEW Orleans I would make this my number one Hotel ,The Restaurant has very good, reasonable food, that most Hotels would double in price. I Never write reviews this long, however this place I've only covered a fraction of it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
