You pay too much money to stay in a 5 star holet so you expect what you pay for but you get nothing!!!Service is very very bad, house keeping and bar service is terrible, breakfast you wait like 30 minutes for omlet and cold tea waiters are very bad and 1 waiter looks like 6-7 tables and you can not find anyone to order, pool is ok but service is very very bad noone around to order sonething, you ask someone to hepl they say that is not their job!!!So terrible stay for me and I did not advise anyone to stay in this hotel and pay too much money, you can find many hotels and good service in İstanbul other hotels believe me!!! Well, this time - despite it is still nice - i'm strongly thinking about looking for another hotel in this area. My friends who arrived a day after me got discount cards for the fish restaurant, while i have not. Why? I have not asked, in any case we did not go there, but it was strange indeed. A\c control pannel in my room needs to be fixed as it was impossible to choose "low" fan speed. Only middle and strong. Changes are not dramatic, but as a repeater i feel them. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Amazing hotel and staff

I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during my first visit to Istanbul. I loved the location and all the services available within the area. The staff are impeccable. They provided incredible high standards of customer service at every interaction both during the visit and afterwards. I had to resolve an issue and the staff have been truly wonderful. Many thanks for all you professional approach to every single detail. 10 out of 10. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Excellent hotel not too far from the new airport

Dear all travellers, We already staid in Polat Renaissance in Yesilyurt several times. We just had a new one from 19th until 20th June. All was as everytime perfect : exceptionnal cleanliness, large and well decorated rooms, smiling, friendly and helpful service especially from the frontdesk, wide range of choice for the breafast. One plus : the new airport is much more farer from all the Istanbul hotels than Atatürk Aiport and Polat Renaissance provides a useful shuttle (7€/way/person). It's a pleasure to recommand this hotel not far away from Istanbul center (Taksim and Sultanameht) and walking distance from the very green and relaxing Yesilkoy area and many good restaurants. We wish you a nice stay in Istanbul and in the hospitality country. Best Regards TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Excellent stay and one will try to repeat.

Great position overlooking the shipping on the Sea of Marmara, this hotel once had the distinct advantage of being very close to Ataturk airport. However, the main Istanbul is now some 20 miles away on the Black Sea coast. so the Renaissance has to reinvent itself as a resort within the city. We arrived very late (thanks B.A.), but the night manager and his porters could not have been more friendly and helpful. A very nice welcome; much appreciated by us. Lovely high floor room with terrific views over the small harbour and shipping waiting to go through the Bosphorus to the Black sea ports, we could also see in the far distance both the Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque. Excellent breakfast, good selection great staff. The business lounge was a bit of a let down. Very attractive ( and popular) sunbathing area/ swimming pool - which is open to the public (on payment). Housekeeping is superb and they did a great job, whilst the the front desk were exceptionally helpful with useful tips on what to see. The young man in the coffee shop was always cheerful. But special mention must go to Burak Dojan, whoo seemed to be everywhere and extremely helpful whether it was in the restaurants, assisting us with a printer. Excellent stay and one will try to repeat. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
