Nice hard product

Jul 14th, 2019

This hotel is much nicer than the Marriott which was the other hotel we stayed at on this trip. Pros: as is standard with Renaissance hotels, toiletries are Aveda, beautiful decor, decent club lounge, nice front desk staff Cons: Costs of parking are absurd, no spa, valet staff were inattentive - cut us off on arrival and then stood around talking while we idled at the entrance waiting for someone to assist. No mention of a Bonvoy elite room upgrade. Overall recommended and most definitely ahead of the Marriott. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Could not say enough good things about my stay

Jul 11th, 2019

This place used to be a run down old Masonic Hall and an eyesore off the highway. Wow - what an unbelievable job with the renovation. Hotel is historic and equally modern and just fantastic. Great rooms and even better service. Nice job TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location in Providence RI

Jul 10th, 2019

The Renaissance is very conveniently located across from both the Capitol building and Providence Place mall. We had a king room which was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was relatively spacious with Aveda soaps and shampoo. We were fortunate to have access to the lounge for breakfast and were pleased with the selection and quality. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Super Hotel in providence!

Jun 23rd, 2019

This was my First time in providence, I wasn’t expecting anything great - let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised with this property. When I entered , the entrance and lobby did definitely impress me as I wasn’t expecting this, providence being a small town. A downside to my experience was that I had booked a room with twin queen beds with a confirmed email and reserved notification from the hotel but upon checking in they gave me a one king bed room. The rooms and toilet were neat and well done. I would have been great if the toilets were equipped with a health faucet or a bidet. The health and fitness centre was small but solves the purpose- got great Lifefitness equipment. I enjoyed my workout. The lounge was good with great breakfast and Starbucks coffee being available all the time. There is a small sweet shop open 24 hours to buy some small bites and off the shelf meds TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved the building and the room

Jun 16th, 2019

We had a recent one night stay. It was perfect for us. We walked to dinner close by. The building is renovated Masonic temple with plenty of character. Our room was spacious, clean, with modern appointments. Restaurant and bar hit the spot with great staff after a night on the town. We would stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
