Dreadful

Feb 17th, 2020

This is a typical Marriott property I.e. what can we get out of it!!! Rude, insensitive front desk, rundown property, no regard for frequent guests etc. If you are coming to Raleigh you can do better anywhere else!!! Avoid at all costs!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good, but not memorable

Jan 22nd, 2020

We came here for a 1 night stay on points, so I honestly can't speak much to the price. The place is located conveniently next to a lot of high end restaurants as well as a Target. The room was nice, the bed was very comfy, I slept pretty well in it. The shower was also quite nice. My only big complaint is that this hotel lacks any true amenities. With it being a 1 night stay away from our kids, my wife and I were hoping for an indoor pool area where we might be able to soak in a jacuzzi, but unfortunately this hotel didn't have any of those sort of amenities. Overall, it was a nice stay. The staff were all great, and even heated up some leftover food for us (even though they made us sign a waiver for using the microwave...), but no real complaints. Do wish this place had a few more bells and whistles. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Overpriced

Jan 13th, 2020

This place has some good points but it's the most expensive hotel in the area and is just not worth it. Staff is friendly but not too competent. Good points: location, comfortable bed, good work area in room, nice TV, including one in bathroom mirror, body jets in shower. Bad points: poor maid service, bad in-room dining service, maintenance issues in bathroom, overpriced room and they charge extra for everything. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Holiday Fun

Dec 30th, 2019

Located in a lovely area of North Hills... Note, if you want to have a room that doesn't face the freeway you must arrange at time of reservation. If you want a bathtub you must stay on the third floor. Rooms are nothing special and the amenities are few. I was staying at Christmas time so North Hills was very festive. There are many wonderful restaurants you can walk to, there is a free shuttle that comes to the hotel every 15 minutes if you prefer not to walk. I believe that this is a business stay hotel for corporate people traveling. Yes, l would stay there again because of the great restaurants, shopping and the great area to walk. Restaruant 41 Hundred

Dec 30th, 2019

This review is for the restaurant inside, 41 Hundred only. Back when this place was called Flights, the food was good. But this new incantation is sadly having some problems. The food is simply not good and the service is terrible. Just 7 people in the whole place when we had dinner and it still took far too long to get served. The couple next to us seemed to get increasingly irritated each time they saw one of the only TWO servers walk past them with food toward the bar. Apparently there are 2 cooks but still not enough to get the food moving faster. I think the waiter refilled one of our party's water glasses only once; the rest were never filled. The flatbread was not substantive enough to be a meal - it was more like eating finger food on crackers. The turkey was all gristle. Everyone is nice but yikes. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
