Thank You Claire, Front Desk, for excellent service and generous upgrade and amenities. The location is convenient to the airport but an airport shuttle would be most helpful. The property is very beautifully appointed as well as the rooms. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

They Treated Us Like We Were FAMOUS!

Jul 6th, 2019

Okay...I am in a different hotel almost every week. Nope... not my line of work but I travel a lot. When we pulled up, I knew I was going to be loving this stay. The exterior of the hotel is gorgeous. They have the option of outdoor self or valet parking ( I hate garage parking, some kind of phobia I guess). There was ample parking but we opted to pull up to the door and valet park our vehicle. I LOVE valet! The valet attendant was super nice and welcoming. After a long ride from Atlanta, we were ready to get settled and grab a bite to eat. Well....if you've never been to the RTIP, you will be blown away like I was by the lobby. Holy Toledo! I had to pick my mouth up from the floor. The Lobby area is so luxurious and for lack of a better word, can I say sexy? Yeah...sexy. All of my senses were engaged, but one thing I will always remember was the smell. Whatever it was, it was heavenly and smelled like rich. Here's where a hotel visit can South... the infamous check in. We approached the sleek cool looking front desk and encountered Harper Daniel. There's nothing better than encountering the RIGHT person during check-in . He was outstanding! He made us feel welcomed, he was genuinely warm and interested in us. He made us feel special... famous. We walked to our room like we were golden...I said " I'm sure he treats everyone this way, but today, it's just us". We then went to our room and were blown away again by the decor, richness and elegance of it all. Food: We had a delicious breakfast that was complimentary due to my status. The wait staff was super attentive and friendly. To make a long story short, we had a FABULOUS stay! The mall made the stay even more fun and exciting. We will always remember Harper and Saida, she's Harper's manger, we met her when we checked out. She was a beautiful human as well. There's nothing negative I can say about our visit, which is rare. We plan to visit again in the fall. Worth every penny! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Hotel Stay

Jun 28th, 2019

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious (though bathroom a bit on the smaller side). Bed was comfortable. I would have given "sleep quality" 5-stars if I could have got the room cooler with the AC. The International Mall is attached via an outdoor sidewalk, and there are numerous restaurants (both in the mall and not) to choose from. It is a quick Uber from the airport. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Dried Blood On Sheets and Lied to

Jun 8th, 2019

Checked in late at night on a Thursday to find bright red dried BLOOD on my white bedspread. It was disgusting and honestly I have no idea how you put new white sheets on a bed and miss bright red blood? The manager came, changed the sheets and offered 10,000 Marriott points, a free breakfast and dinner on Friday. She also offered to change rooms to a double Queen (why would I say yes to this when I was in a king and it was 10:30 at night with all my stuff unpacked?) I explained to her this happened to me a year ago at a Marriott property in TX and they provided 30,000 points. She said ok. Friday morning I noticed 10,000 points were added. I inquired why there wasn’t 30,000 and they said they would take care of it. Friday night I went for the free dinner but there wasn’t any food in the lounge. When I asked the manager she said she didn’t know why there wasn’t food there. I also asked again about the points and she said she’d take care of it. Saturday morning I checked out and again asked about the points. This time a different manager told me she talked with the other manager Friday night who told her not to give me the 30,000 points only 10,000 would be authorized. I explained to her that on multiple occasions including the previous night she told me she’d take care of it. I would highly advise you do not stay at this property unless you enjoy sleeping in sheets with dried blood and then being lied to by management. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome location!

Jun 8th, 2019

I didn’t realize it was right next to the mall until later in the day. Great location for shopping and dining. The room had a nice view and the staff was super friendly. They let me check in ahead of time and gave me a beautiful room with a King bed. I guess that’s one of the benefits of my level membership with Marriott. The only downside to hotels like this? No free breakfast in the morning. They also don’t have premium channels like HBO and Starz. I don’t know why. The oatmeal I did have was delicious and large enough to fill me up without over stuffing me. Fitness center was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Modern equipment with a view of the pool. You could tell a number of pro and semi-pro athletes stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
