My husband and I were upgraded to a one bedroom suite in the hotel building section (separate from the townhouses). Our room was clean, spacious and neat. Due to COVID, the hotel offered grab and go breakfast bags. The indoor pool was closed, but the outdoor pool was open for limited hours. Staff was friendly. The townhouses looked like they needed some love on the outside. Not sure if they’re renovated on the inside. Just off the highway, Not far from restaurants and Hershey. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Very Welcoming Staff

I have stayed at the Residence Inn Harrisburg Hershey each week for the last few months due to work. It has been a great experience; the staff has been extremely welcoming and the rooms comfortable; I have enjoyed taking advantage both of the standard free breakfast and happy-hour type free food/drink three nights a week. What really has set this location apart in my mind is how friendly and helpful Taryn, the manager, and other staff has been. They went above and beyond smoothing out some minor travel hiccups on the limited occasions I had forgotten to make a reservation or update a reservation correctly. I am very grateful and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone in the area! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Clean, nice and quiet

Very nice, clean and quiet place to stay. Super friendly staff. fast and reliable WiFi. no waiting for hot water when it was 19 degree. Good maintenance of cleaning the walkway from snow. good kitchen with dishes. good combination hot and cold breakfast. Nice and safe neighborhood. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Nice for a weekend in Hershey

This hotel is about 18 minutes or so from Hershey Park/Chocolate World. It is very clean and the rooms are clean and huge! The front desk was very accommodating as we didn’t arrive until 2AM and they were able to check us in no problem. The free breakfast was okay- waffles/bagels/eggs, etc. It was very crowded downstairs but there is additional seating upstairs that no one seemed to realize and it was very quiet and nice. As an aside- the hotel is right off the highway, which was not an issue for me or the people I travelled with, but I can imagine others might not like that. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

A place to stay while visiting Hershey Chocolate World

Overall my stay was great! Joys: 1. Easy check in 2. Nice snack area in the lobby 3. Hotel looks like little apartments-really cool 4. Wonderful staff 5. Spacious room 6. Nice decor-pretty clean 7. Pool in the building I stayed in 8. Close to stores/restaurants 9. Security/Safe-must use entry card to enter building at all times (THIS WAS HUGE FOR ME) 10. Great breakfast and breakfast area in the main lobby area with a fireplace-so pretty and relaxing 11. Great kitchen area with ice machine in freezer 12. Comfortable bed 13. Outside pool for summer season 14. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash in pumps shower (Paul Mitchell Products) 15. Plenty of cleans towels in the pool area-towels were hanging over the back of ear chair-which was a nice touch Personal concerns: 1. Pool water was freezing cold-floor underneath and behind the poolside chairs dirty-looked like it has not even mopped in a while 2. No snacks machines in the units -in order to get snacks you have to walk or drive to the front office 3. Dirty dishes 4. Hair-on the towels and bathroom floor near toilet (I understand that it is hard to get this done right as hair tends to cling to the towels even after being washed and dried) 5. Looked what appeared to be urine on the bathroom floor 6. Breakfast in lobby-horrible in the winter as you have to drive or walk in the cold to eat. Overall my experience was great. I would definitely stay here again. The people I met as I ate breakfast at this Residence Inn were so nice. The staff was awesome. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
