First Business Travel since COVID-19 - Great Effort by Staff
Aug 19th, 2020
I've stayed at this hotel before so I knew what to expect. I went with a Residence Inn with a kitchen for a 5-day stay so I could cook in the room to limit exposure and just to save some money/pounds, ha. In any case, the hotel did an excellent job in social distancing and taking precautions. The staff, especially Louis, the front desk agent at night went over and above to respond to anything I might need. The hotel is a great choice in an ideal location with plenty of walkable restaurants, markets nearby. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Super clean, large rooms with incredibly nice staff.

My niece and I were on a cross country road trip to get her home to family before the Virus got really bad. This was one of the overnight stops we made. The hotel was super clean, dog friendly, room spacious and the staff incredibly nice. We weren't able to have the free breakfast due to the virus but it didn't matter. We did take out on our way out of town. If I find myself there again I would definitely choose this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
THANK YOU, MISS LILLIE AND DAVID...!!!

Just an overnight in a nearly-deserted Little Rock (some strollers down by the river, with lots of eateries offering take-out). The usual breakfast was a victim of the virus -- but there was coffee in the lobby in the morning! That was much appreciated as not every hotel offers this of late. Ice machines on several floors. Thank you to GM David, we really enjoyed our sprawling 2-Bedroom/2-Bath suite, with 2 bath tubs, an oven, full-sized refrigerator and large TVs. Sadly, no windows that opened for a breeze. In normal times, this hotel is right where you would want to be, in the center of everything. We’re definitely planning a return. Thanks also to Miss Lillie for getting us in on arrival. General manager doesn’t follow through with any issues. Room wasn’t cleaned or presentable. See pictures. I’m platinum elite and have never been treated this badly at a Marriott property ever. See pictures TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed here for 2 nights. In general we like the Bonvoy options and Residence Inns typically offer comfortable stays. However we were very disappointed with the billing at this property. We initially booked one night and then decided to extend one night. The second night was more expensive because the overall occupancy level that night was higher - so their formula automatically increased our rate - without telling us in advance. Secondly we were charged $100 extra for our little non-shedding dog. I have never paid that much before and I have certainly had reasonable managers who waived the fee upon check out when they saw the dog had zero impact on the room. I felt $345US for 2 nights was an outrageous price and I am disappointed in this Bonvoy treatment. I contacted the manager directly and she was unwilling to arrive at any compromise and implied she had zero authority to do anything. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
