General manager doesn’t follow through with any issues. Room wasn’t cleaned or presentable. See pictures. I’m platinum elite and have never been treated this badly at a Marriott property ever. See pictures TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed here for 2 nights. In general we like the Bonvoy options and Residence Inns typically offer comfortable stays. However we were very disappointed with the billing at this property. We initially booked one night and then decided to extend one night. The second night was more expensive because the overall occupancy level that night was higher - so their formula automatically increased our rate - without telling us in advance. Secondly we were charged $100 extra for our little non-shedding dog. I have never paid that much before and I have certainly had reasonable managers who waived the fee upon check out when they saw the dog had zero impact on the room. I felt $345US for 2 nights was an outrageous price and I am disappointed in this Bonvoy treatment. I contacted the manager directly and she was unwilling to arrive at any compromise and implied she had zero authority to do anything. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

December 2019 and January 2020

I wish every place we stay at while traveling would be as nice as this place. The staff are truly amazing; Louis is the nicest guy I have ever met at any hotel. Brandon, the same. They are so kind and accommodating. Made us feel right at home, during a very emotional time in our lives when we had to make a move from Houston to Memphis. We stayed here on both trips. The rooms are SPARKLING CLEAN. And it's a dog friendly hotel! It's just a wonderful place, overall. We look forward to going back in the Spring, because we fell in love with Little Rock, and this is where we will stay EVERY time :-) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice place, could be better

Nov 23rd, 2019

Recently spent two nights at this hotel, and while overall positive experience, there are some concerns. They say first impressions are key, and frankly, this hotel stumbled out of the gate. We arrived later at about 10 p.m on Friday night. When we entered the lobby, there was no one at the desk, and a sign they were away helping other customers. It was a full 10 minutes before anyone returned, and by then there was three of us waiting. There was no apology or acknowledgement that we had to wait. The staff member was friendly, and did check us in promptly when she finally returned. She handed us a parking pass and told us the back lot was full and we could use the Marriott garage. There was no direction given as to exactly where the garage was, so we had to figure it out. We did and it was a short block from the hotel. Once there it worked out fine. As for the facility itself, it was clean, modern and generally comfortable. The bed was firm, which was to our liking. We had a sleeper sofa in the living room that had a bit of a sag when sitting on it. Our 5th floor room was on the side right by the interstate. While it did not bother us, as we travel with a sound machine, it could be a problem for others. Otherwise the room was very nice. The location was great and the price very reasonable. While we would consider staying here again, there are other options in the area we would also consider. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Gets the right things right

I love to write reviews for hotels that get the basics down and this one is one of them. Nothing fancy, not trying to be cool. Just a clean room, lots of lights and outlets, comfy bed, and no surprises. The only thing missing was a safe. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
