Covid excuse = no service

Sep 15th, 2020

This hotel is basically devoid of amenities or service and using the Covid excuse as a reason to offer nothing more than a room. A hotel that claims to offer breakfast, an exercise room, and a pool, actually offers none of those things. Even the guestroom was very poorly maintained. Two lone towels, no hand towels, wash cloths , or paper towels in the kitchen area. For a Marriott, I found this hotel to be very substandard. If a hotel is going to be open, then be open and offer what you claim to offer. If you are afraid of the virus, close down and open when you are ready. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A bit disappointing

Sep 7th, 2020

Long time Marriott customer, chose this hotel for the close proximity to the airport before our flight the next day and because they advertised an airport shuttle. Upon arrival, informed the shuttle is not currently available. Got into room, immediately noticed an unpleasant smell similar to old food. Food crumbs on countertop from previous guests. When we were ready for showers, noticed no towels available. Called front desk, towels were brought in. The staff we encountered were all polite, but the property overall seems to be not quite up to Marriott standards. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice and new!

Jul 12th, 2020

Booked this hotel as a sleep stop from the road expecting a very late arrival. Not much parking which was expected for a downtown hotel. Very nice room (suite) more like an apartment! Full kitchen, washer/dryer and 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and showers. We were able to do a load of laundry and sleep well before heading out. Recommend staying here if you don’t mind paying a bit more for some nice amenities. Wish we could have spent more time! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst experience, rude staff and filthy. My sisters and I chose this hotel because when we called they said the pool was open. When we got there the pool was closed and we were accused of lying about being told it was open. Our check in was at 2 and when we arrived at 4pm we were told to wait and someone needed to check our room to make sure it was clean. When we got into our room the beds were sloppy, the towels were hung sloppy and there was barley any toilet paper. During our bed bug check we discovered the mattress cover had what looked like smeared dried blood and a bunch of hair on it. When we told the man at the front desk he said “I don’t know what you expect me to do. I’m here alone so I can’t help you”. We asked for new cover and sheets to do it ourselves and he had given us the wrong size so it didn’t fit. There were nats in our room, a dead fly on my towel and there was no house keeping so the hallways were filled with trash bags from guests waiting to get picked up for two days. Nothing had been cleaned or sanitized and the whole place smelled nasty. Save your money and DONT stay here, you’d probably have a better experience at the super 8 motel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good room but no staff!

Jun 27th, 2020

Hallway carpet dirty, bags of trash by doors, used rolled up diapers. Parking lot was absolutely full but only one person for the front desk and that's it. No other staff. The owners should be ashamed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
