It is a cozy hotel, the facilities were well maintained and everything was clean. The room was great (Queen and Sofa bed), the queen bed is together with the bathroom and has a TV, the sofa bed is in the living room and has another TV available, they have a nice pool, and I consider it to be well located, the Staff was friendly, and we had no problems whatsoever. I really think it was great TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A typical Residence Inn, rooms perhaps smaller than some

Mar 2nd, 2020

I greatly prefer Residence Inns in general, for Marriott hotels in its class. This Residence Inn is very like others I have been in. The one bedroom suite had all the usual furniture and fixtures, but...perhaps in a slightly smaller space than others--Residence Inns condensed. This seems to be a newer one. Residence Inns are always spotless, with extremely comfortable beds and all the amenities one needs. This one is no exception. The desk clerk gave us the best suite available when we checked in--a lovely courtesy. We also were given excellent guidance to a good local restaurant. The breakfast was also the usual--several choices, some fresh fruit, oatmeal with all the possible trimmings. It's very good for hotel fare. The attendant worked diligently to replace everything and to maintain the serving area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Thanksgiving stay visiting family

Dec 6th, 2019

I really like Residence Inns. Front staff was great and gave us a first floor handicapped room because of an elderly person traveling with us. We had a two bedroom two bath room with living room dinette with fireplace. Nice touch! The room was clean but there were numerous plumbing issues. Leaky faucets on tubs causing a flood the first night until we figured out how to block the water. One sink drain actually had a canvas cover over the leaking drain trap under the sink? Commodes did not flush properly. Seems the rooms were in need of general maintenance even though they looked new. Beds were very comfortable. Living room furniture soso. Three nice TV's with plenty of channels - good. When the AC was on, it blew extremely strong and it was loud! I think these units are not correct for these rooms. Thin ceilings! Watch out! The elderly person in our group got to listen to steamy sex in the room above that kept her awake for hours. I heard whistling and conversations above - not sure if it was the same room? Breakfast was ok, not as good as the other Residence Inns I have stayed at. Exercise room was clean and good but it never had any towels or hand wipes in the three times we used it though. Nice Hotel

We only spent one night here, but had a great stay. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with kitchen and living room. Had everything we needed. The rooms were very up-to-date and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast had nice options. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very friendly and prompt service, quiet and comfortable space in the city

Nov 6th, 2019

I like the Residence Inn because there are so many consistencies across their properties. This one met almost all of my expectations and had a couple of extras. The lobby and breakfast area are well maintained, and clean. Coffee was always ready and fresh. There was one young man who was at the front desk during the day who was particularly friendly, cheerful and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a similar selection as I seen at other Marriott's. They really should consider mixing it up a little. Other Marriott's offer french toast, or sausage biscuits and gravy or pancakes. This buffet has the standard waffle maker but serves a lot of overcooked scrambled eggs and egg whites. In the evening they offer weeknight extras that I have seen at some RI's. One night they had clam chowder and a glass of wine. That sort of extra for their weeknight visitors is a pleasant addition. One thing I missed that is common in other RI's is fresh baked cookies or mini desserts that are generally found near the coffee area between 4 and 6 PM. The strangest issue I had was with my bathtub. The bottom was sloped inward and it was uncomfortable to stand in to shower. Standing, your ankles are turned in. It may have been a remodel of a tub the was done poorly. I have never had this experience anywhere. Other, then that, the bed and linens were fresh and clean, the living room and kitchen were also perfectly immaculate. The room was quiet. Oh - I also used the business center and it is well maintained and functional. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
