Great room and location

Sep 1st, 2020

Loved our large room overlooking the falls. Very comfy bed and quiet location. Was able to walk to several great restaurant including Smitty's Pancake house and Snow Eagle Brewing. Walking path along river for a little exercise. Only downer was that shower only had luke warm water in the morning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Home Base for Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

Aug 31st, 2020

As with all residence Inns this one had friendly and helpful staff. The room and facilities were clean and inviting. Masks were required in public areas and breakfast was limited as the result of the covid 19 virus, all in an effort to protect guest and staff. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a park to enjoy adjacent to the Inn. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful Hotel!

Aug 27th, 2020

We stayed here in August and we will stay here again. You want for nothing. The hotel is located right on the river and the Japanese Garden. You can walk easily to Walmart or restaurants or the walking path right at the front door. There is a beautiful pool and nice work out room. Our room had a fully stocked kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room. It was like a home away from home. There is a laundry room with plenty of machines. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I believe this hotel has the nicest room attendants we have ever met. They work very hard and are very kind and friendly. Any need was met. Thank you to all of them! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Weekend in the Summer

Aug 18th, 2020

My husband and I spent three nights at this Inn which is located next to the Snake River. This river provides great opportunities for walking along the river. When you cross the street, you are walking where the falls are and it is a lovely walk. We had a reservation at this hotel. We arrived early and were provided with a room on the 4th floor. Our room did not face the river- we had a gorgeous view of the sunset each evening. The room was clean and comfortable. All the appliances worked fine. The breakfast was on the first floor - grab and go. In a paper bag, there was a bagel (choices of flavors), yogurt and silverware. On the counter, you could get butter (individually wrapped), jelly (small containers), hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit (apples and bananas). The swimming pool and whirlpool were open as was the gym. The front desk staff was always friendly and answered our standard tourist questions. This hotel is in a great location for walking along the river walk and you can walk to many restaurants. It is also near I-15. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Noisy, poorly managed

Aug 7th, 2020

Paid $166 for a studio with a view of ... the roof and AC chillers. The AC chillers were right outside our windows and very loud. We were woken at 3:30 in the morning by some additional loud rattling from somewhere outside our windows but it went away after 30 minutes or so. No ice machines in the entire hotel. Really. Have to go to the front desk to get a bag of ice (no ice buckets in the rooms). Spouse and I needed some water after a walk in the 90 degree sun. Most hotels of this class (Hamptons, Holiday Inns, etc) provide free bottles of water to guests. Not this one. $2.50 a piece. Room key expired at 9:30 a.m. instead of at checkout. Luckily I was in the room when spouse came back from "breakfast" and tried to get in the room. They charged us for internet even though we chose the "complimentary" connection. They corrected the bill after I brought it to their attention. On the bright side, the room was clean though the staff clearly did not enforce their mask policy for guests as most did not wear them while in the hotel. For the price, this place was a big disappointment. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
