Poor customer service
Nov 25th, 2020
In the time of COVID, you’d expect better customer service. Not so with the Residence Inn Hamburg. Rude front desk & indifferent management. There are lots of other choices for hotels, so we won’t be staying here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
BEST five days.

Just such an excellent hotel. In a quiet setting yet simply across the street from tons of shops & restaurants. We had an amazing stay. Five nights in a two-bedroom suite. Very clean in addition to the hotel itself being very quiet. Front desk Amanda & Alexis, excellent staff. Helpful, friendly & kind from the day we checked in until the day we left. Maintenance man Matt, super, super kind & helpful even though he was busy he stopped to help a guest, me!! We look forward to another trip to Lexington and a pleasant stay at a nice hotel. Thank you to everyone. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We checked in on a dark rainy night and Sidney was friendly, warm and welcoming, which made us feel appreciated. We were advised that we could order breakfast the night before and were impressed by the choices. Our take-away bag, complete with cooked eggs, yogurt and coffee was ready at the appointed time the next morning. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I'd definitely stay here again. Excellent place to stay. Superior staff (Alexis on night shift and Katie on morning shift) helped to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you again Marriott. The room was 100% satisfactory. We stayed on 4th floor so it was also very quiet. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice and Recently Remodeled Hotel
Sep 26th, 2020
Stayed here in late September 2020, during Covid. The hotel has been recently remodeled, so everything in the rooms feels pretty new. Generously sized rooms with kitchens at a fair price (around $120/night). It looks just like their provided photos. I believe this location is the nicest Residence Inn in Lexington, outside of the brand new (more expensive) downtown location. I had checked in online prior to arriving, so the front desk visit was short. The hotel was taking necessary precautions, and public areas were either closed or revised for space. The desk clerk was friendly and had on a mask. I did have to change rooms, as the first I was given had a set of burners but not an oven. Keep this in mind, only some rooms have ovens. If that's what you need, request it up front with your reservation. Room switched, everything else was pretty great. The hotel is back off of the main road in a quiet area, and there are nice residential properties nearby. Definitely not the place to stay if you want to walk to activities, as you'll be driving everywhere. The rooms were quiet aside from some noise from the stairs going up, which were wood and creaked. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was very clean. I didn't find any dirt anywhere, even on the floor of the kitchen where I might expect a bit. Pots, pans, dishes, and the fridge were all clean as well. The TV does have many HMDI inputs, so bring your own cables if you want to watch something. There are no apps with the television, or PPV. Complaints were few: -Smoking areas too close to side access doors, which allows the smoke to drift right into the hallways. When you enter the side door, it smells like a smoking hotel. -The breakfast I ordered was cold when I picked it up at my assigned time, didn't have the yogurt I ordered, and contained some of the worst coffee I've ever tasted. I understand it needs made in advance, but the quality was just not there. At least I could heat up the sandwich in the microwave. -There's no soap for the kitchen, so you'd have to bring your own or use bar soap on dishes. -The hotel has no guest ice machine, because the fridges have ice machines. And while that's fine generally, if I needed ice sooner than 3-4 hours, I had to go bother the front desk for it. -TV in the room was of poor quality, either because it was a very cheap (not HD) TV, or because they are splitting their cable service between all the rooms, lowering quality. Marriott sent me a survey invitation after my visit, which I completed. And to their credit, I received a personal thank you and response within a couple days. They absolutely read my comments! So that was nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
