Great location and very nice for the price

Feb 11th, 2020

I do 2 events a year and I hold them here. The conference room is a perfect size for 50 people and the hotel rooms are comfortable, and it's located where all the restaurants are. Only issue is no food on site for lunch or dinner. Given apps like grubhub though not that big a deal. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Stay

Jan 26th, 2020

Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. The front desk staff are all very personable and the location is very convenient to access Burbank airport and downtown Burbank. Was very pleased with my stay and look forward to getting back when I can, even if it is only for short visits. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The worst residence inn

Jan 12th, 2020

From beginning to end the worst RI experience--and we stay at a lot of Marriott. On arrival the lobby entrance is in an underground garage. People (mostly employees) smoke within about 10 feet from the lobby entrance in an unventilated area with butts all over. Room was not clean. Sock in plain view under the table. A container of dental floss was by the toilet. HVAC system located in the closet by the bed and was a constant "roar". Worst was the total lack of environmental efforts. The exception was the signs in the room asking to help the environment by not asking for clean towels ($ to Marriott). We brought our own coffee but were told that they didn't provide coffee filters. Instead we were to use the heavily packaged, awful coffee packages provided in the room. Every Marriott I've been to recently has recycling containers in the room and the sign on the room door said there was such a container. We were told they didn't do that but would in a couple of days when they hired someone ???? Breakfast was awful. Plastic everything. People like us were down bringing silverware, bowls and coffee cups from the room to avoid using all the plastic. The evening "reception" was uneatable. Food carts and grill night ended up being mystery meat patties and wilted lettuce. The front desk staff was rude to everyone. The location is great if you are flying in to Burbank and want to be located close to Pasadena, Universal Studios, Griffith Park. Just find someplace else to stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Unstable Front Desk Management and Inept Management

Dec 26th, 2019

I was booked for a 3-night stay at the Residence Inn Marriott at Burbank, CA. When I got there, there was an ugly scene unfolding in the lobby with an employee yelling profanity at a customer. A front desk employee berated a customer who was airing her grievances regarding her stay. He called her names, accused her of trying to get free stuff, screamed at my husband for interfering in stopping the fight, screamed at me for filming the encounter, and the hotel staff did NOTHING to stop this. They only defended the guy, who should be fired! Foul language, aggressive attitude has no place in the hospitality industry. Needless to say, we chose a different hotel. This is being reported up to the highest levels at Marriott. I have partial video of the event. He threatened me when he saw me taking the video. He seemed very unstable and could not be pacified by management. He charged at me and the lady filing the complaint. If not checked, he will pose a physical threat to hotel guests sans staff. The hotel management seemed almost afraid of this guy and did nothing, even though they acknowledged that they heard the incident from their offices. All of this scene unfolded in a lobby with at least 3 families checking in. Our family included our 6 year old who witnessed this entire incident. Marriott should be ashamed and this employee should be fired! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Superb One Night Stay - Burbank Residence Inn Los Angeles Burbank/Downtown

Dec 16th, 2019

We stayed for one night in a one bedroom suite room. The room is very nice with sitting area, kitchen area, and nice bedroom. We had a car. Its easy to park one's car in the parking garage. There is a small nightly fee. Check-in and out was easy. Staff overall at the Marriott Residence Inn were amazing. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning. I also liked the exercise room. The pool area and outside fireplace is also very nice. Its in a good location of Burbank. Its close to restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
