Day Trip to Portland

Sep 20th, 2020

My fiancé and I wanted to stop by Portland for a day trip on our way to Acadia National Park. This hotel provided great value from what we saw online and went for it. And we are so glad we did! The room was very lovely - clean and comfortable. The most important part for us was to have a kitchen given we are being very safe during COVID times and would rather eat in vs out. There was a full fridge, sink and microwave which we put to use. The TV was fully equipped with NFL network and ESPN to keep us happy in the evenings. The shower had great water pressure and full bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash (great for somebody with long hair like me). Lastly, their breakfasts were perfect during COVID times. Individually packed Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. and the woman managing it was very lovely. The only negative was the front desk woman - just made everything difficult when we were checking in and did hamper the experience in the beginning. But other than that - very happy and would highly recommend. And it’s only about 15 min away from Portland downtown and 20 min away from the main lighthouse so very convenient for sightseeing. Do not bother

Jul 1st, 2020

Bed was very uncomfortable, the sink in the bathroom was so low we had to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink. The pool was closed, and the bathroom itself is tiny. No upgrades for my elite status so very disappointed. The room is outdated and the halls are so dark. Needs an upgrade SOON. Our room faced the interstate so truck noise all night long. We will not be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful stay!

Jan 31st, 2020

From check-in to checkout, we were very pleased with this Residence Inn. All staff that we encountered in our one night stay were friendly and very helpful with any questions we had and made our stay very pleasant. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Many thanks to Cindy for the Titanium Elite room upgrade, it was so nice to have the extra room! Breakfast was very good with lots of selection, even had Gluten Free bagels when I asked. We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Quiet and comfortable

Really awesome room with a mini kitchen with all of the amenities. Comfortable bed with a tv that has Netflix. Cindy was very nice and asked us about our stay. I used to work at a Mariot and this one does not disappoint. I reccomend this hotel! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ok Hotel - Very rude Staff

Oct 6th, 2019

I checked in after a very long drive and found the front desk manager to be rude and unwelcoming. The reservation agent was trying to do her best to make up for the manager's rudeness, but she was also dealing with what looked like a maintenance person hovering behind her overseeing her check in process while questioning her along the way. An employee by the name of Cindy was on duty the next morning and was very helpful and accommodating both times I interacted with her. TOTAL contrast to her colleagues. The hotel was certainly adequate for someone looking for a bed near the airport and quick breakfast on the run. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
