Cozy & Sweet

Nov 11th, 2019

Enjoyed a nice couple of days stay. The complex is a little older but very clean and cozy. We had a 2 bedroom & 2 bath suite with a kitchenette. I definitely recommend a 2 bedroom if traveling with kids. The kitchen is small but it made it easy to fix a quick snack or reheat leftover. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was tasty, sitting area wasn’t too small & there was extra sitting area outside. Property had tennis court, basketball & pingpong. I will definitely stay here again should the need arise. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Spot to Stay When in This Area

Sep 21st, 2019

I stayed at this residence in for three nights while in the area to lead a workshop. It was a fine quality Residence Inn. My room had all the amenities you expect at Residence Inn, and was very clean, quiet and provided three great nights of sleep. The folks at the desk were super helpful and the breakfasts were varied and delicous. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Don’t stay here if you actually want to sleep

Aug 3rd, 2019

Can hear everything outside, pool area is super loud, constant screaming which you can hear in your room, the AC unit outside the window is extremely loud, basically sounds like you have your windows open. Even though the hotel was supposedly recently remodelled it looks as if it is falling apart. Huge dents in fridge, carpet is pulling up, sink barely drains, window doesn’t stay on track. This hotel was built super cheap. Very disappointed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent place for long stays in San Diego

Apr 16th, 2019

I stayed here for almost 5 weeks and the experience was amazing, they have spacious rooms and kitchen attached. Daily room services courteous staff and location is very good just beside I15. I recommend this place for people who are looking for long stays. Pros: Menu for complimentary breakfast need a upgrade. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not Marriott’s Finest

Nov 21st, 2018

We stayed here 3 nights during thanksgiving week. The staff was really helpful. Kudos to Mike at the front desk in the evenings. He’s great. However the hotel needs some help. Dark and dreary. Run down. Stained carpets. Our first night we stayed in a studio and it had a king bed. We upgraded to a 1 bedroom, but guess what - the bed was teeny weeny. Was told it was a queen but we have a queen at home and this was most definitely smaller. The room was actually smaller than the studio. The room just felt dirty. It may not have been dirty - but because of the run down furnishings it just felt dirty. It smelled horrible. Like old cigarettes. Ended up walking to the gas station to buy some Lysol and spray the room. We used our FREE Marriott anniversary night for this stay. Wished I hadn’t wasted my free night. As a Marriott Gold Elite member, we’ve come to expect more from the Marriott product. Especially the Residence Inn because of its amenities. This was a real disappointment. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
