Excellent staff and rooms

Aug 12th, 2020

I have a current stay for 32-90 days for work. Have been here a week now and everything is great. Considering the restrictions with covid-19, the staff is doing excellent! From the front desk staff to housekeeping, everyone is upbeat and friendly in these difficult times. I do miss the full breakfast, but they are doing a minimum of two hot dishes plus the usual cold cereal, fruit, etc. That is really good considering that a lot of hotels have canceled breakfast altogether. I've been a Marriott rewards member for a lot of years, and these are some of the reasons why they are my first choice for lodging for one night or six months. Kudos to them for keeping everyone safe and making things work well and seamless. PS: I wish I had a full stove like the old days so I could bake banana bread and cookies for the staff, like I do at some of the other Residence inns, but I'll have to just bring them store bought, :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The perfect stay does exists

Jul 8th, 2020

I picked this hotel based off of the availability of a room with a view and the decent pricing. As soon as we checked in we were blown away with how efficient and professional the staff is, we easily found parking and our room. Our room was extremely comfortable and felt like home instantly. The best part of our trip was visiting the True North Tavern located in the hotel, amazing drinks, amazing service, and the best dinner and dessert we’ve had in a long time! Jenn was such a great bartender/cook we’re very grateful she went out of her way to make our stay special. Thank you to everyone on staff, we look forward to our next stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

lack of service

Jun 25th, 2020

I stayed there the beginning of June and was surprised to see that none of the staff are wearing masks. also they are not transparent about what has changed since the pandemic. they do not tell you at checkin that as an elite member you no longer get free water bottles. (they didn’t know why just said they can’t do it) and there is no longer any housekeeping and they don’t tell you. rooms are fine but you’ll have to ask for additional towels if you need them, they won’t think to bring you any even if you stay long-term. apparently there are new protocols due to COVID-19 but they do not tell you anything when you check in. lastly there is a lot of construction across the street so if you’re hoping to sleep in you will not be able to. This is now my hotel in Seattle

Jun 6th, 2020

The hotel may be a little bit older but it's been well updated. The bed was comfortable, the linens good, the kitchen more than adequate, and TVs good. But most importantly the staff was wonderful. They were pleasant and helpful from the get-go, but I had a medical emergency while staying there and the front desk staff treated me like family. They cleared the way for the ambulance, and I think the man at the desk would've carried me out if he thought he needed to. It was like having family with me. Oh yes and the location and views over the lake a really nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our visit to Seattle

Jun 3rd, 2020

Check in was a pain. When we arrived the front door was closed. I had to buzz the bell and talk to the intercom. Kylee peep through the window and finally came out and open the door. We had 4 suitcases with us. What did she think ? Anyway, the hotel is located on Lake Union. Room 608 was nice with a kitchen and 1 bedroom with a door. Since this pandemic I was stuck in my house since January in upstate NY. We walk over the Space Needle and walked to Pike place. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner didn't come on time. Thank god it wasn't to hot. We bought food from the outside and cooked our meal. Overall I was satisfy with the hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
