Party of 4

Nov 17th, 2019

We reserved a double king suite, two bedrooms two bathrooms. King beds in both rooms, spacious rooms with a kitchen and living room in the middle. Awesome set up for friends. The location was super handy off of the I5. Beautiful breakfast in the morning was included with the stay. Nice pool and hot tub too. Friendly attentive staff, parking was $37 USA . We had a great time, and appreciated the cleanliness. Thanks for the stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Rude Front Desk Attendants

Oct 17th, 2019

I stayed at Residence Inn Marriott a few weeks ago and the rooms were great - nice, clean and spacious. Housekeeping staff were wonderful throughout. However, the front desk attendants were always very rude and moody (two white girls). I could not understand why the short and negative responses, but they were not very helpful at all throughout our stay. After our first night, I went down to chat with them about tours or recommendations and they informed me they do not offer any and could not recommend anything else. They just told me to look online - which I did do, but I wanted some first-hand Seattle resident recommendations. Second day I asked for more toiletries and instead of handing me more shampoo/conditioner, they questioned whether or not I received some that day from the housekeeper. I said I would not be requesting it if I did not need it (yes the housekeeper did leave some but we shower generally 2 times a day so we ran out). On the final day, my friend asked if she was able to have more tampons (she had been getting a few a day from the front desk since they offered them when she asked if they sold any). The attendant immediately told her, you can buy some from the bathroom in the first floor. My friend referred to her that in the past two day she has been given a few per day and was not told to buy some in the restroom or the market. The attendant then told her, well those are your options only. If she did not want to give her any for free, she could've said it in a friendlier way or simply said they ran out and those were only options, but she did not. The attendant seemed annoyed prior to her asking so something is up at this hotel. I would not recommend staying here since the people that were supposed to be helpful and offer excellent customer service, were not. I work in customer service for a living and they definitely need to up theirs at this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A few hiccups but would return

Sep 28th, 2019

I was promised a view room when booking but they were unable to honor my request when I arrived. I was disappointed but what made up for it was the customer service I received, especially Pam who works the breakfast area. She was truly an ambassador for Marriott Residence Inn and it was wonderful to see her smiling face each morning. I feel like I made a friend by the time I left and will return because of Pam. Good hotel and great location

Sep 22nd, 2019

We recently stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Seattle/Lake Union and recommend this hotel for nice rooms, amenities and location. Nicely appointed rooms should you wish to cook and very good hot breakfast buffet to get you started in the morning which is included in the rate. The location is walking distance to Lake Union and great restaurants for this up and coming neighbourhood. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed for 4 nights recently while attending conference. Room was exquisite- like a small apartment. Everything you could ever want and more. High topped table work area and lots of connections for electronics. Full sized kitchen with dishwasher and dishes and silver- unbelievable. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! Venus, who checked us in, was so accommodating. Fantastic hot breakfast each morning. Cannot give a higher rating. TEN, TEN, TEN! Two additional notes: 1. I was determined to find cheaper downtown parking. Ended up walking several blocks from hotel and paying $30 per night. Parked the car at hotel the final night ($40 fee) and wished I had done that the entire time. Much nicer garage and elevator stops at your car level. 2. If you have the opportunity, find a spot for your car somewhere other than downtown and uber into and out of downtown and everywhere. Short term parking is extremely expensive in Seattle and Uber to and from and far cheaper that taking your car and paying for parking. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
