Very clean and beautiful place to stay. It was great being able to come back from sight seeing to a clean and comfortable place. Highly reccomend. Guest Service was very prompt and would contact us to make sure we were happy with our room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Don't as for a view room

If you ask for a view room you may get just the opposite. Instead of a red rock view I looked out a a hillside 10 feet away. I had zero enjoyment sitting out on the patio like I usually do on vacations. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice and relaxing, but expect a long check-in process

This resort was exactly what we were looking for when planning a trip to Sedona. It was a little bit out of town, giving us peace and quiet to take in the views. We were off to a rocky start, however, when it took nearly 50 minutes to check-in. That is not a typo. There was one registration staff with a line of people checking in. After very thorough/over-the-top explanations of the property, the wait time became incredibly long. I would have thought the concierge would have pitched in to relieve the wait time, but stayed at her desk instead. A simpler process is much needed as it should never take that long to check-in to a resort. Frustrating and tiring after a late evening trip from Phoenix with three young kids. Our junior suite was a little cramped for a family, not much room for luggage, but incredibly spacious bathroom (shower only -- not great for little kids). The kitchenette had everything we needed to get a few small meals in. The clubhouse offers a ton of activities in addition to golf. Even an activity center with scheduled arts and crafts each day. They also offered free DVD checkouts. The property has a few pools (although the one closest to our room was closed) and several hot tubs throughout. The pool was much too cold for an evening swim this time of year. But it was gorgeous and our kids loved it. Another bummer is that the check-out time is 10 am. We asked for a later time, about an hour more, and they would have charged us roughly $40 (having trouble remembering exactly) additional fee. Wasn't worth it to us, but 10 am does come quickly, especially for Pacific time folks. If/when we return to Sedona, we will most likely try another place just to see what else is available. But, again, this was a good option for a more laid back experience in Sedona. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The resort has nice open space, gulf course and close to shopping and restaurants.

We had a two bedroom suite. It was clean and room for everyone. The resort is nice with good landscape and views of the mountains. There are a few things that can be improved. We ran out of coffee and were not sure if we can get more. The checkout time is 10 AM and check in is 4 PM. Checkout should be at least 11 AM. The cookware does not have none-stick pots and pans and we actually had to go and bug non-stick pots. WIFI does not work or too slow most of the time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Pretty mundane place that didn't feel happy to have us.

The studio was very small with a view of the parking lot butting up to our two outdoor chairs. We asked repeatedly for a larger room. No one really seemed to take our request seriously and kept pushing it off to the next shift. The next door Hilton (walking distance) offers a daily visitor rate. I spent several days there and it was lovely with many amenities. The Hilton made my trip apart from daily excursions. The pool near our unit was empty with no explanation or apologies. There's really nothing special about staying here and the staff didn't seem to go out of their way for anyone. Except the time share folks pushing tours. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
