William at the front desk was absolutely rude, obnoxious, and clearly didn’t understand how to greet customers. To make it worse, we got to our room only to discover garbage everywhere and none of the bedrooms were cleaned. Bathroom was filthy and when we called the front desk they did nothing to address resolve our concerns. We went back to the front desk and asked for a refund and left. I understand there’s mishaps but William and rest of the front desk need serious customer service training and attitude adjustments!! This was the worst experience in all my years of travel. A RiverStone Spa Day

Jul 17th, 2019

My son and his fiance' gave me a gift certificate to RiverStone Spa. I made the appt, and I was not disappointed. I scheduled my massage was with Mariah, who was amazing. In comparison to spa's I've visited in Knoxville and Asheville, this was by far the best massage. Also, Debi did a wonderful manicure! I am not accustomed to being pampered, and she made me feel comfortable and she described the green products she used on my nails, they look the best they have ever looked. My experience was far beyond what I expected. If your in the Pigeon Forge area, whether a tourist or living nearby as I do, a few hours at RiverStone is a must. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed for dance competition

Jul 14th, 2019

We had a nice two bedroom in building four. My family enjoyed playing in the river and we liked the location. The place was very quiet and easy to find. The lazy river pictured in the advertisements isn’t quite as it appears. It’s a really small outdoor pool. Our room cards became deactivated on three different times. The first time was right after check in. We battled the heat to get to our room only to find that none of our keys worked. We drove back to the office to behave them re keyed. This happened twice more with the second time being at 11 pm when all we wanted to do was get in our room and go to bed. Also the dishwasher in our unit didn’t work. My husband doesn’t mind doing dishes so that wasn’t a big deal but was an inconvenience. We didn’t want to mess with calling maintenance to have it fixed. All in all I’d recommend the hotel (it’s not a resort) but beware of your keys. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best Spa in town!

Jul 13th, 2019

I love the Riverstone Spa. I go regularly and Debi and Ashley take amazing care of me. I constantly get compliments on my nails and it's all thanks to these 2 wonderful ladies. I wouldn't go anywhere else! If you are looking for a manicure, pedicure or other spa treatment, look no further than Riverstone! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice place, but the view is not as good as you would think

Jul 12th, 2019

The condos are very nice, and they are well sound-proofed, which is wonderful because there are lots of families with young kids. If you pay extra for the river view, be forewarned, the view isn't that good. While you can indeed see the Little Pigeon River, what you mostly see is the huge back parking lot of the Dixie Stampede. I didn't find that very scenic. The private balconies are nice, but don't think you are going to hear the rushing river out back. All you can hear is the loud hum of the air conditioner units located on this side of the building. You also can't see the fireworks from Dollywood on the river side of the building. The condos have everything you might need, however there is no cleaning or trash removal provided, so be prepared to do this yourself. I stayed for a week, and wasn't thrilled to have to take out my trash, make my bed, and exchange my own towels in another building. You pay a $40 cleaning fee for your stay, which covers them coming in at the end of your stay and cleaning things up. If you want fresh towels, you can take your used towels to the main office and exchange them. The condos are well appointed and beautiful. However, my hair dryer did not work. My alarm clock did not work. My microwave worked, but sounded like it was going to explode when I used it. The microwave door didn't fit properly, which seemed to be the problem. While there is a cooktop, there is no oven. When you get to your room, the first thing you want to do is turn on the ice maker, as they dump all the ice from the previous user, and turn it off. It takes a bit to get some ice made (the next day.) The indoor pool and lazy river are nice, and there is plenty of parking. Except for the early morning, it is next to impossible to make a left-hand turn out of the property to get to the main strip because of a blind curve, and the traffic from people trying to get to the strip or the Dixie Stampede. Traffic comes to a complete standstill right before the shows at Dixie Stampede, which happens 3 times a day. If you make a right-hand turn, you can take Teaser Road and still get to the main strip. I would go to this resort again, but I would not pay extra for the river view. It isn't that special. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
