The Rosewood in DC is perfect and the staff very good. We felt very welcomed from everyone. My room was elegant, classic and small. The food is ok. Location is in Georgetown, the best area in DC. Around very good restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Fantastic Stay in Georgetown

Spent one night at the hotel in December while seeing family in DC. From the moment I pulled up arrived was great and very COVID appropriate. I valet parked my car which was disinfected before being returned. Our temperatures were checked and hand sanitizer was offered while walking in. Check-in was very quick. I stayed in a corner king room which was very comfortable for work and sleep. A beautiful cake was left as a welcome gift for us. I used an AMEX hotel credit for a round of old fashioneds from Cut which I picked up at the bar and brought back to the room. The drinks were great and a second round was ordered from room service. Look forward to being back for more than one night. My new favorite DC hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Lovely Stay in Georgetown

All things considered for 2020, we really enjoyed our stay at The Rosewood in Georgetown. The staff, led by Gabor, was all very helpful and accommodating. We stayed in a Rosewood Suite and loved everything about the room. It was clear a lot of care had been taken to make sure the room was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. There was even a personal care kit in the room which included masks, wipes and a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Unfortunately the restaurant closed just before our arrival (DC Covid restrictions on indoor dining) but we look forward to returning when the property is fully open. The staff were extremely attentive and made our stay extremely nice. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. The staff always goes above and beyond. The restaurant Cut was closed because of a fire, but the bar was cozy with good cocktails. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
No hot water, no apology, rude staff, no communication

It was one of the worst experience of my travel life spanning 30+ countries. After some good experiences of hospitality at Rosewood NYC and Stanford properties, we decided to give it a try in DC although we had been pretty happy at Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons nearby. During the 4 night stay in Feb, we did not have hot water during the last two days. When I called the frontdesk for the problem, all I heard was they do not have night maintenance staff. Still no hot water the following morning, manager did not show up until 10ish in the morning when we checked out. We clearly stated the dissatisfaction and asked adjustment to be made to the bill. The staff said there was nothing she could do but made sure that the manger would get in contact with us. I have made effort to chase down and emailed them after we have returned home. No reply what-so-ever from the manager (Mr or Mrs Oyuku? ) NEVER NEVER stay here if you are in Georgetown! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
