Con artists. Paid for a room with a balcony on booking.com then tried charging me 20 euros a night for the balcony when it was already paid for. They then accused me of threanting because I said I will be speaking with booking.com and leaving a 1 star review. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Simplissity and cheap solutions should cater for low prices, but alas - €€€€€ Paying 4,5€ for a latte and then get an automated brewed coffee tasting just like that is nothing Royal! Keep away! I should have listened to my instinct and left when I asked the server for a coffee recommendation and was told 'Irish coffee' :-O TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We didn't sleep over there, we had Diner in the restaurant, and that was just super ! We had the filet mignon and one of the best wines of there cellar ;-) Bordeaux Rouge The staff was very friendly, we asked to wait a little bit to serve the food, because we wanna enjoy our wine , and so they did. If i going back to Amsterdam one day, i deffenitly go back there TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Had to rush back home because of the EUROPE travel ban

I messaged this hotel stating that I had to rush back home because of Corona virus then they told me I could change dates I had someone else book my hotel and didn’t know there was no free cancellation and especially given the situation They book the hotel one day in a advance for me because I know with all the virus spreading I didn’t want to risk anything beforehand however, we got a public announcement that travel from Europe will be ban for 30 days so I needed to rush back home and didn’t think about anything else. I messaged the hotel they said they can refund although this is a situation the whole is having to deal with. My hotel in Hamburg did return full price even though I selected the same exact option. I then mentioned filing a charge back to Royal Amsterdam and this is the response I got. Completely rude person hiding behind a laptop. Also, booking is not doing much to help. They keep asking me for information and if I could give a 0 star to this place I would. Perfect example of a business taking advantage of us during this time. If they message me again I will be posting it on all social media’s because I see their messaging as a threat. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Visited this restaurant for a nice evening meal, service was a little slow but it was a busy time, nachos to start were amazing and the butterfly BBQ and chips was very nice indeed and Piping hot. Would definitely recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
