Highly desirable when visiting bath

Elegance and luxury in Bath UK. I love the hotel. The whole building is a landmark in Bath. The room were very spacious. The staff was extremely friendly. Not the best location, but worth the 5 min walk. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Birthday spa weekend

Nov 26th, 2019

I absolutely loved my stay at the Royal Crescent hotel. Everything was just perfection. The staff are friendly and it’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The spa is also beautiful and the treatments are well worth the money. My husband had the aromatherapy massage and I had the pedicure which is the best I’ve had. I will definitely be returning again one day soon. Thank you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Visited the crescent on a trip to Bath The sun was shining and it all looked lovely We had a bit of a sing as well The park in front was nice and although November it was a lovely morning We had to pay 20p each to use the toilets I never had any money on me but luckily my daughter had a £1 coin but no change was given However the attendant did change it for us TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not quite 5* service. The front of house staff were all very good bar one who came across as unnecessarily supercilious. The restaurant dinner service was excellent at the outset but then tailed off which led to us feeling rather neglected. On the upside: the room, spa, location and general ambience were excellent. Masterclass in understated luxury

Nov 17th, 2019

My husband and I stayed here this weekend. I have nothing but praise for this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it felt elegant and luxurious. The setting, right in the middle of the Royal Crescent, is stunning. The entrance is understated but the interiors are beautiful. Welcoming, sumptuous and refined. Nothing showy here. Our room had been upgraded to a heritage room and it was on the second floor of the main building. We had requested the main building when we booked direct with the hotel. The room itself was lovely. It overlooked the beautiful gardens at the rear of the hotel, which also contain the separate buildings for the spa complex and the restaurant & bar. We had wanted to book some spa treatments but when we called a few days prior to our stay, nothing was available so I recommend being more organised than us and booking your treatments at the time you book your room. In fairness to the hotel, they also recommended this in the booking confirmation email. Nonetheless, guests can use the spa facilities throughout their stay and even after checkout on the day of departure. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed using both. The bar and restaurant are both lovely. For us, the restaurant felt a little too formal for dinner but there is an all-day dining menu available in the bar and a decent in-room food menu too. The cocktails at the bar are to die for. Really delicious and well made. We slept insanely well in our room, it was extremely comfortable and breakfast was also a lovely experience. Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and caviar felt like a real treat not to mention the cold buffet where everything we tried was great and of really good quality. Another nice touch was the real coffee and little cafetière on the room refreshment tray. No long-life milk here either. You call down for fresh milk when you need it. This is a real 5 star hotel experience with excellent attention to detail and really first rate service. We didn’t want to leave. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
