Best the Caribbean has to offer

Jun 6th, 2020

Stayed for less than a week in Aug. 2019 with some family and a couple of friends. Prior to this trip, I stayed at the Butterfly Resort in Barbados and was totally dissatisfied. Quite the contrary with Royalton! The staff was exeptional and cleanliness was immaculate. Words cannot describe the jaw-dropping experience it was simply walking into the lobby on our first day. There are great views universally through the resort and the stay was definitely an exclusive one. Food at all the restaurants was absolutely divine and the rooms were nothing short of magnificent - all 3 rooms my group booked. I would wholeheartedly recomment the Royalton for anyone planning a St. Lucian getaway. I am a very particular person and I am shocked to say, my stay was flawless. From the high level of cleanliness to the wonderful food to the great drinks, I am most satisfied. Special compliments to Rawle (I think that's his name) who was excellent throughout our stay. Five star fantastic

Apr 16th, 2020

We only stayed at the Royalton for two nights and wished we had stayed longer. Our room was huge with an open bathroom, spa bath, double sink, double shower, two TVs, a lounge, large and very comfortable bed and a spacious balcony overlooking the grounds, pools and sea. The pool areas were lovely and clean and the sun loungers were comfortable and padded. There were plenty of towels that you could help yourself to and lots of umbrellas if you wanted some shade. There was a great waterpark for kids too. The food at the hotel was lovely. As the hotel was so quiet due to the coronavirus the buffet was only open for breakfast and lunch where there was plenty of choice. There were a few food stands around where you could get a quick lunch by the pool too. In the evening, we had the option of a few a la carte restaurants (there are several, however as the hotel was quiet they alternated which were open). We had tex mex the first night which was fantastic and Italian the second night which was very good, however, the wait was quite long. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly, particularly Zac. The location is lovely and situated in a beautiful, calm bay. The beach was okay but not the best beach but the infinity pools more than made up for it. I’d never stayed in a Royalton before but will absolutely look to make Royalton my first choice for any future trips to the Caribbean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We were moved here when our hotel was closed Check in quick and efficient and taken to our room which was first floor suite in block 5. Room had a sitting area with tv and tv in the bedroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Large sunny balcony with furniture. The bathroom had a huge shower plus spa bath and double sinks. Maids called every evening to change towels as well as in the morning. Exceptionally clean. As not many guests in the hotel the buffet restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch and two a la carte in the evening. Went to the Tex Mex first night and that was very good. Went to the Italian and service was a bit slow but they were working under very difficult circumstances. Waiter very polite and friendly. There was entertainment on and a bar open. Lots of pools and lovely comfy loungers. Beautiful view of the bay from the pool but the beach wasn’t really very good. Large children’s play area and entertainment team. Shout out to Zac. Friendly and informative. Swim up pool bar was good. Could not fault this place, standard of finish was excellent. Will look out for Royalton for future trips. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Previously visited an other Royalton Resort and didn’t have any of these problems.

Elevators not working. While we were there making it difficult to get my husband who is in a wheelchair around the resort.Restaurants closed in evenings, rotated being open. Closed bars by the beach and pool.Times there was no beer or vodka available. We experienced some of the bartenders being rude and ignoring us when we came to the bar area making us wait for service when they weren’t busy.I fiound the majority of the staff being friendly, but had a few who were not. 3 nights for a friend's wedding

Apr 2nd, 2020

Amazing resort, beautiful pools and beaches, delicious and varied food options (with very healthy portion sizes!), lots of drinking and fun. We really enjoyed our friend's wedding right on the beach and the private party that resort staff quickly set up afterward. The staff was always so kind and helpful, including when I had a minor medical emergency. They also helped us get to and from the airport, which was definitely a plus! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
