Sagamore hotel

Great location, hotel needs updating and needs to get other staff to help the guests at reservations as staff are overworked and lines are long at times. Pool area nice with ample chairs. Very difficult to check with with car drive up space limited especially with large SUV. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Solid South Beach Hotel

This is a solid choice for a stay. Many rooms are recently remodeled. I enjoyed the bungalow rooms as there was sufficient area for two friends to enjoy separate space. The breakfast if included in your rate is worthwhile. Nothing fancy, but it is a solid, fresh, well presented hotel breakfast. The addition of a rotating art gallery is a very cool touch as it makes the common areas less sterile and very interesting to walk through. Beds were very comfortable with nice pillows and bathrooms were clean. There is construction next door that may be an issue to some rooms but it wasn't for mine. Solid choice for a comfortable stay! Booked a king suite with city view - ended up having NO view - my view was the hotel’s garbage/recycle bins. Customer service was terrible. Very rude and not understanding the situation. Felt misled. AVOID if you’re looking for a view. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay

Super nice deco style hotel. Penthouse was excellent! Had all amenities needed. Walking distance from everything or a quick Uber ride. Check in/out simple. Parking is pricy but expected for south beach. We parked and didn’t get our car till check out days later. Elevator is very very small. Loved our first stay here and will keep it in hotel consideration for future trips for sure. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Horrendous parking fee!!! 3rd party or not

Stayed here for 5 days at the beginning of our 3 week east coast road trip.. Paid via British airways package deal. They clearly disliked that... We had booked an ocean view suite.. boring view...meaning u looked onto a palm tree and wall, but reach dangerously over the side you can slightly see the pool.. no ocean view! Not to mention the construction noise that starts at 6am.. “Didn’t you see the construction” no sorry we booked looking at your fab online photos not google earth... You get a microwave and fridge, upon requesting a plate and cutlery to use the ‘kitchen amenities’ “Sorry we don’t give out to guests” Not sure why offer a kitchenette within the room?? Picture attached after a long convo as to how I’m supposed to eat. ( with ur hands) like a monkey basically! Delivery of attached photo.. dog bowl delivery unable to use microwave with this... Upon arriving we were told parking was 45 dollars... never were we told per day! Plus taxes - “it’s a 3rd party company” They explained.. That I hadn’t agreed to loan my car out to a 3rd party company who take half an hour to deliver your car back to you! 5 days cost’s 380dollars to park! Park down the road for 20 a day before being conned! Seems they spend more on art ( like the 24k priced photo covered in egg at the breakfast area) and making the reception smell nice over guest comfort! Overpriced drinks and filthy floors in the room. 2 days went past before we were able to get a cleaner upon request, no fresh waters.. poor standard of service... I made my bed myself each day! Terrible hotel... bad start to a holiday and reflection on Miami... I’ll be taking this up with British Airways when back in the uk. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
