Great location and staff

Aug 18th, 2019

My family of 6 stayed here for one night as a stop over when headed to WY. It was great! The staff was very friendly during check in and offered a treat basket for the kids to select from upon arrival. It was a nice touch after a long day. We were able to get two adjoins rooms which were in immaculate order. The hotel pool and spa area was well stocked and clean. The hotel is very centrally located to Temple Square and the Creek Mall. We definitely recommend! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The amount of noise in my suite from jangling elevator cables was unbelievable

Aug 17th, 2019

I had a queen suite for two nights. It was large, but the decor was from the 1980s and there was no desk for work. The door between the LR & BR didn't work or fit perfectly, and there was no HBO Go option on TV. The lighting was too dark. The sundries store was small & sad. But worst was that the noise levels both inside and outside the hotel were unacceptable. The jangling from the cables in the elevator next to my suite were loud and constant. I sleep with ear plugs, but during the day I could clearly hear the cable noise from inside the bathroom when its door was shut, while sitting on the couch watching TV, and of course in bed before putting in ear plugs. in addition, my room was next to a storage closet or maintenance room, and I could swear I could even hear a key turning in its lock. Finally, noise from cars and motorcycles 10 floors below racing down the street or which have modified exhausts will easily wake you up if your room faces State Street. If your room faces the Gallivan Center, like my colleague's did, you will not be able to sleep until at least 10 p.m. if a concert is going on there. His room was also on the 10th floor, but he said during a concert's finale it was so loud and his windows were so thin that they vibrated. When I checked out, the Front Desk did not ask me how my stay was. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

TestOut Conference

My experience with this hotel was awesome. The hotel was very clean, the amenities were great, the food was awesome. The location was close to several tourist attractions and a shopping mall. I would recommend to anyone visiting Salt Lake City to stay at this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Place to Stay in Salt Lake!

Jul 28th, 2019

We stayed here for one night on a recent trip. Great friendly staff and nice central location. Although we could not get a suite upgrade, the room we had did have a nice view of the city. Our room was comfortable and very clean! Great place to stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location

Jul 10th, 2019

I was in town for a conference. It was easy to get to the various places by foot. Beware SLC has long city blocks, so a two block walk is a touch longer than you might expect. The light rail stop is adjacent to the hotel (Galvan stop). Nice room with a mini fridge which came in handy. Nearby a nice grocery store which helped since I’m not a fan of expensive breakfast (which is hard to avoid downtown). The fitness facility was a pleasant surprise with a variety of equipment. The indoor pool was a surprise and likely appreciated in the winter, but disappointing in July. Staff did a great job of taking care of any needs. I would gladly stay here again.
