This hotel is one of the best places to stay on the riverwalk . The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, and location is perfect for nights on the river. We did a quick getaway for christmas break and the riverwalk was absolutley beautiful!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Hotel, hard to get an upgrade but it is worth it.

This was a covid mini vacation for my wife and I. I had to get out of the house for a few days. I am Marriott BonVoy Titanium so I used points for the three day stay and used some suite nights to be upgraded to a suite. They are supposed to upgrade you to a suite 5 days before your first night at the hotel. I didn't get upgraded and they sent an email telling me they didn't have an upgrade for suite nights. I called the hotel and they said they would work on it but nothing happened. I called again two days later and still no suite night upgrade. I called the day before our stay started and finally they reluctantly gave us an upgrade to an executive suite. They were not going to give me the suite night upgrade even though there were suites available and I would not have got the upgrade without pestering them. I earned the suite nights and shouldn't have to call 3 times to get the upgrade. After that everything was great. The Staff took care of us and treated us very well. The suite was very large and very nice. It was clean and well furnished. We were on the 34th floor so we had a great view. There was no room cleaning due to covid but we found housekeeping in the hall and got fresh towels and soap and gave them our old towels. There was no coffee maker or microwave. I asked about a coffee maker and they brought one up immediately. The bed was amazing as well as the huge TVs on the wall. Every time we asked for anything we got it. The executive lounge was closed for covid as well as the restaurants and there was no room service. I feel like having the lounge closed was just being cheep. They could at least have it open for coffee, soda and snacks. The Gym and pool were open. The gym had a lot of equipment and it all worked. I used it every day and it was not crowded. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Parking was $37 a night and there was no valet due to covid. It is easy parking in the garage under the hotel. This hotel is attached to the river center mall so there was easy shopping and lots of places to eat. We ordered carry out at the nearby eating places and took it up to our room. There were a lot of people eating outside and in the restaurants along the river walk but we just kept our masks on and took the food back to our suite. The river boat tours were open in the evening to take tourists to see the lights on the river. I asked the hotel staff about the tickets and timing of the river boats and they gave me a free ticket that they had left over. Overall, this is an amazing hotel and the staff treated us royally. The only issue I had was they really didn't want to give me a suite night. But after that, everything was perfect. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel

Jenifer at the front desk was so nice. She was able to get us in early, in a large room and on a high floor. The room was very clean and looked to be newly remodeled, had a separate sitting area, 2 TVs, and a nice large bathroom. The bed was comfortable and they were quick to bring an extra pillow. The only issue was when I turned on the heat it only blew out cool air. The room heated up better with nothing on. Very nice hotel and will stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Celebrated with chef’s dinner and impeccable service

We spent 10/23/20 at the Marriot Rivercenter and had a superb experience. Our chef, Ben was utterly amazing. The catadores (tequila Sommelier) Fernando provided us with a tasting experience second to none. Our server, Domenica kept the level of service exceptional and made our evening so personal. We truly enjoyed ourselves—in our own city! This staycation at this luxurious renovated Marriot was one we will appreciate for a long time to come. We can’t wait to come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Texas Size Hospitality Delaware Size Rooms

The very best hospitality. All the staff are super super friendly and always speak to you when they see you. Great restaurant with a very well stocked bar. Destination based elevators that is you have to put in your floor and it tells you which car to go to. Very speedy. Watch Car C, it does not like the 33rd floor. The doors hang all the time. While the rooms are very comfortable, they are very tiny from my experience of a Marriott. From the hotel website they are 286sqft/26sqm. There is not even a coffee maker in the room even though it is stated on the website. A call to the desk I was told they were removed due to Covid and available on request. They are VERY slow answering the At Your Service number sometimes 30 - 40 rings. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
