Not great

Mar 14th, 2020

The WiFi doesn't work properly, the toilet paper cheap and very thin (not pleasant!), they don't serve food after 11 am, the restaurant is expensive and the food quality and preparation are poor. There's nothing on the menu for vegans. On the limited plus side the gym and pool are good. The staff are friendly. I won't be rushing back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Go To Property in North County

Great hotel, Lovely renovations. responsive staff. The restaurant is fnow finished and open making it even more convenient. I stay here often when arriving back in town from trips. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms clean. They have Netflix and Prime, etc, on the TVs so you don't have to watch on the laptop. Nice space. Perfect location near beach and 10-20 minutes from most business and tourist destinations. Every now and then something goes wrong (because I stay pretty frequently) and usually it is addressed instantly. It's much quieter than the nearby Doubletree and more convenient than the racetrack Hilton (which is also a comfortable hotel).. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The worst hotel experience ever!!!

Feb 10th, 2020

I was on a business trip to San Diego and booked this hotel for 4 nights (each approx. $ 250 per night). My experience with the reception staff was very bad since they deposited unintentionally too high amount in comparison to what I was supposed to pay and they were not able or willing to deblock it /correct it when advised by me. Btw they were blocking this amount even days after I checked out and left. The coffee in the breakfast room is terrible; actually, you can’t drink it. On the one hand they are mentioning in each bath room that their intention is to protect environment why they ask to be attentive when using towels, on the other they provide coffee in paper cups for all guests as well as water in plastic bottles (0,2l) during breakfast. The rooms are clean but nothing special. It is not possible to open windows and below the shower head there is metal sheet on the floor, so you can imagine the “sound effect” after you took the shower and until water drops stop falling. On one day the elevators were not working, so I had, as pregnant as I am, to take the stairs several times that day to the 9th and 11th floor. What a pleasure! Quite expensive and not really worth the price!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Causal Weekend Visit

Jan 26th, 2020

This is a nice hotel. It is clean and comfortable! But I have to say that service is lacking as when I asked about the buffet service, pool service, or extended checkout time, I gotten an impression that we were not good enough to be there. Further, we were charged $10 for WiFi and $20 for daily self parking! I don’t like the nickling and diming to a customer! That’s one star! I don’t mind to be all included in the room price! If this is a four stars hotel, then act like it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
