Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach

The Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach, located in California’s Pismo Beach, overlooks the Pacific Ocean and sits within walking distance of Pismo Beach Pier. The hotel boasts 75 recently-renovated guest rooms and suites with oceanfront patios, Keurig coffee makers, flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Suites offer added perks like a fireplace. Recent guests love the hotel’s third floor, which sports a large deck, with lounge chairs, fireplaces and heat lamps.  There is also a 24-hour business center as well as a convenience shop in the lobby. The Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach provides fresh fruit and coffee daily, which recent guests were frustrated with, but it plans to open a full restaurant soon. Some past visitors were also disappointed by the relative lack of amenities for such a pricey property. The hotel is a short drive from Edna Valley wine country, downtown Pismo Beach and Oceano Dunes.
