Beautiful, but a few issues with service

Resort was beautiful, clean and views spectacular. Most of the service was great with a few sour memories. Room services orders were ignored and never delivered on multiple occasions. Some of the staff was not the friendliest. Food was great for the most part, but they would not accommodate our party of 14, despite empty tables and being told we did not need reservations. Home away from Home

We love Cabo and Sandos but I must say I am a little disappointed with our recent stay. 10/8/19-10/15/19. We are RE members and were traveling with another couple who were not. (They traveled under one of our weeks) Last time we were there in December EVERYTHING was wonderful! This time the staff... Bernie, Ismail, Theresa & Gabriel, the gals in the RE check in and a couple others I don't remember their names were great but I must say if it wasn't for them our stay would have been horrible! We stayed in a RE room 4503. The bed was terrible, super hard, we had no hot water (which I did mention more than once) the maid service for cleaning was terrible even though I did leave a tip every day on our bed. Some days we didn't get towels, or toiletries, this was the same for our friends also. The restaurants are great but I wish they would change up the food items in Don Diego's as eating the same items everyday get boring. We will be back and we LOVE our RE family, maybe they were just having an off week. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We love this Place.....

I LOVE this palce. We will not go anywhere else in Cabo. This was our 2nd time to go here we LOVE it!!! What you see is what you get. Food is exelent best of any resort I have ever been to. We will be back in May of 2020 for a wedding and will go back every year. The staff all remembered who we were we love them all Bennie & Santiago took extra special care of us. The staff is what makes it extra special. We love the rooms with the ocean views. I have only great things to say about this place it's the BEST!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

great resort

first time ever to Cabo and we stayed at Sandos Finnisterra. very happy we did. it is a great all-inclusive resort. the resort has amazing views and is close walking distance to the marina and downtown. the food, the entertainment, service, drinks, spa, pool and restaurants were good. check-in was easy and we were not hounded by any timeshare people. we did have a person pull us to the side and sit us down and explain the resort to us, which i thought was great. we got shown to our room which was on the first floor. i was a little disappointed because i was hoping to get a room higher up. service at the pool was good. we had Norma and Gabriel and they took real good care of us. of course we rewarded them for their service every day. Hats off to Jose in the Agave restaurant. he was so awesome. always made sure we were good. he always had a smile on his face. what kind of got to us was how the American tourist treat the staff there at the pool. we seen them telling them what to do, bossing them around calling a staff over to clean their sunglasses, really? ridiculous. someone even complained about the Mexican music being played, come on people, you are in Mexico. we just thought it was rude how these tourist treat the staff. anyways on Wednesday's they have an all white party on the beach. we really enjoyed that. all the nightly shows were great. the spa was very nice. i think my only disappointments were that out air conditioner gave out on the first nite. i reported it and they promptly responded but they ended up moving us to another room down the hall at 1 am. the new room had a bigger bed but it was right next to the elevator and the housekeeping room so we heard all the noise. also we ran out of water and it took me three times to call before we got some more water. the last thing was that housekeeping did not give us extra tiolet paper and we ran out. we called and were given TP. you would think housekeeping leave extra TP. overall though we really enjoyed tis resort and would definitley look to go back. Like everything but the color bracelets!

The hotel is great, beautiful, wondeful....but everyone has to know that the beach you see...you CAN NOT GO IN! Have that in mind... But the swimming pools are great. First day I arrived. I noticed that they put different color bracelets on you...I was wondering. So... after few days, that really bothered me...but oh well...the black bracelets are the ones that are members ( like time share) , they have all the privileges. I got the purple...first time at the hotel...you are target from the people to make you a " member". The rest get the blue bracelets. But once you deny becoming a member..you kind of feel that they change their attitude with you in a way. And yes...the tips are included, but they expect to get a tip FOR SURE. But didn't bother me. Everyone gives just a dollar per person from every service ( after a meal ) .... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
