Great spot!

Fabulous time for our anniversary. We are locals who love “getting away” to Sanibel. First time staying at the Sanibel Inn—but it won’t be our last! The staff, everyone we encountered, was outstanding and helpful. A nice touch we weren’t expecting—a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate. The room, though a little on the old side, was just right for our needs. The shining stars, besides the staff, were the pool and pool bar. Loved spending our days here. As I stated earlier, we can’t wait to return soon! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Michael and Luke of the Beach Hut are extremely helpful and polite. They are diligent sanitizing everything. They are quick and friendly in all that they do. The food at Island Time was very good. It was nice to order food and eat at either the bar or poolside. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Resort!

Sep 12th, 2020

We stayed here for 6 days last month and had a wonderful stay. We normally come in Feb and stay at a different location on the island, so we wanted to try the Sanibel Inn on our August trip because we have always passed it and thought it would be a beautiful place to stay. The grounds were immaculate, the staff everywhere were very courteous and helpful (thank you Omar, Brad, Heather, Michael, and the other girl working the pool bar!). One evening there was a large group of extended family congregating at the pool with very loud music. I had asked Omar to ask them to turn it down as it was disturbing to the rest of my family. He handled it very professionally and the music was turned down. Thank you all again for a great vacation. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place to relax and enjoy the beach.

A great place to escape the hustle and hectic lives we all have. We enjoyed 2 nights facing the gulf on this idyllic island. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Even during Civid-19 times we felt safe and taken care off. We would definitely recommend this place to our for friends. Enjoy Your stay while you can. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect destination for a great relaxing get away!

We have stayed at the Sanibel Inn several times and it is our go to destination when we need to relax and enjoy all that Sanibel offers. The rooms are always very clean and the staff that checks you in are friendly and professional. The grounds are gorgeous and well cared for. The pool is sparkling clean and there are bikes, boards and kayaks to check out as well as fluffy striped towels. The thing that draws us to Sanibel is that it is very natural, the trees all over the island and all the homes with lovely landscaping are fun to look. Light house beach is not to be missed or the Bailey Shell Museum! What really draws us to Sanibel is the beaches! Behind the Sanibel Inn you find a nice wide beach with chairs and umbrellas furnished by the Inn. The water is warm and there are sand bars. Google low tide tables and you will find a treasure trove of shells! Shells line the beach always so be sure to wear something on your feet. The beaches are not cleaned, everything that washes up is there and then back out with the tide which I personally love. If you are looking for pristine beaches with nothing on them but sand you may not enjoy Sanible as much as I do but you will not be disappointed in the Sanibel Inn. They are keeping them extra clean and employees are wearing face masks. We dined at Dante's right there in the parking lot and had delicious food with no crowds. The upper floors facing the water give the best views but the whole property is handy to the beach and pool. Thanks for another great stay!! PS We found sand dollars and conch shells which was a bonus (not live of course, gotta put the live critters back!!) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
