Nice, comfortable stay
Aug 3rd, 2020
We stayed in the Tree Tops room, it was nice, clean, and comfortable. Tall windows bring in natural light and the view of Chatham Square is beautiful! I felt the neighborhood was safe. It’s a 20-min walk to the river front... lots of shopping spots along the way! Con: The only downside for anyone who has trouble with stairs, is that you Will need to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to your room- starting with the stairs leading to the entrance, plus two more flights. I think we counted 49 steps in all. It’s a historic building so there are no elevators and stairwell is a bit narrow. To us, it was only a hassle when we had our luggage in tow, otherwise, we didn’t mind the exercise. We would stay again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Absolutely gorgeous and the perfect location!

My husband and I stayed in the Egyptian room for our visit. We were given a complete tour of the house by the sweetest woman upon check in. We learned upon arrival that cars may remained parked in number and metered spots for free from 5PM on Friday through 8AM on Monday. With the current pandemic breakfast was served a little differently. As you take a seat in the dining room or patio for breakfast you are greeted and listed off the menu for the day. We over heard a table complaining about the kitchen not offering vegan eggs and I just have to say that Mrs. T (the kitchen manager I believe) came out herself and offered to run to the store to get the couple what they needed. She even asked if there was anything else that she could do to accommodate their dietary needs and the next day she whipped up some of the best French toast i have ever tasted. I was absolutely shocked at how flat out kind and hospitable Mrs. T was, it’s so rare but such a blessing to see. Please be sure to tip these wonderful ladies in the kitchen as they busted their butts getting food out to all of the guests! The rooms were beautiful, tidy and extremely comfortable and roomy. Check in is 3PM and check out is 11AM. The inn is located a very short walk from Forsyth park and about a 20 minute walk from the river! We highly recommend booking here, you absolutely will not regret it!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Lovely Inn close to Forsyth Park!

The Inn was very easy to find. Parking is on the street, but we got a spot right in front. The lady who checked us in was very kind and showed us on a map where we could walk to find restaurants for dinner. The room (the Turkish) was lovely and clean. The bed was super soft, but some might prefer that. Bathroom was clean with towels that actually smelled clean! Breakfast the next morning was not their usual offering due to Covid restrictions, but was quite tasty—real grits so thick I ate them with my fork. Lord. I think they were cooked in bacon grease—heavenly! They also offer afternoon tea with a sweet tea so sweet it made my heart sing! Lots of history in the building—Google it. A 30 minute stroll down Barnard through the squares, starting with Chatham which is catty-corner, to the river. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great place! We stay here EVERY time we come to Savannah.

Great location on Chatham square. Quick walk to downtown and the riverfront. We love the variety of rooms available (we stay in a different one each time we visit). And the fact that there is a central office and dining area is very helpful. We love Savannah Bed & Breakfast Inn! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Baby-mooning in Savannah
May 25th, 2020
Oh my gosh this place was perfect! We decided to stay here while taking our baby-moon to Savannah during covid 19- social distancing times. We love to meet people when we travel and included breakfast is always a plus so we felt staying at a bed and breakfast would be the way to go. Plus, we thought a local B&B would have far less traveled exposure than a chain hotel (though we aren’t really chain hotel kind of travelers anyways). This B&B was beautifully, historically decorated and located directly across the street from the most beautiful square in Savannah in our opinion (Chatum Square). Our stay was quiet and peaceful and we had our own private patio connected to our room which made us feel like we were truly home away from home. Breakfast every morning was delish and the staff were SO friendly and welcoming! Everything about our stay here was absolutely lovely and exactly what we had hoped it would be!! Will definitely stay here again next time we visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
