First time staying here- took a gamble. I can't recall the room number of the condo we stayed in but it was a one bedroom on the 3rd floor, facing the beach. Whoever owns it had updated it nicely so inside was lovely, very clean, comfy bed, great kitchen and nice furnishings all around. Unfortunately, because these are individually owned- your not guaranteed on the level of the condo itself. But the view can't be beat! Gorgeous small beach, great for swimming, snorkeling, and just lounging. There were clean towels nearby for the beach. There is also a cute bar, and casual restaurant onsite, which was nice for snacks, and drinks. I think there was a fancier place as well but it was closed due to Covid. Masks were required on the grounds, and all seemed to abide by this. Staff were friendly- no complaints! I would recommend for sure, and plan to stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Relaxing and quiet

We chose this resort because it seemed off the beaten path and wanted a quiet, private trip during Covid. We chose the beach front one bedroom condo first floor and it was great being able to walk on and off the beach at will. There were hammocks and a floating dock to swim to. The casual restaurant was steps away ( but the only place to eat or drink without taking a taxi) and Sunset Grill was closed. The beach was clean and staff were sanitizing the beach chairs daily. There is a dive shop where you can also book other trips. We booked a sunset sail there. The beach is small so if you like walking along a beach this isn’t it. But it is great for swimming! The condo itself is dated ( old bathroom and furnishings) but the kitchen was stocked fairly well. We shopped at Moe’s and ate most of our meals here, since it was more convenient. We were there during a tropical storm and everything closed for 24 hours. The power kept going off but it came back on relatively quickly. We checked out the pool once or twice, mainly to use the hot tub. The view was nice but the bats came out at night. One almost flew into my head. The pool area also needs updating, as does the fitness room. The location is private while being close to Red Hook where you can get a ferry to St. John. Overall very nice but we found it quite expensive considering many parts were outdated. For the price we paid we expected luxury. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Secret Harbour is a gem. This is our second time staying here & it never disappoints. The buildings are very clean & the grounds are impeccable. We were there during the covid epidemic & the staff was constantly sanitizing the beach chairs etc. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The manager Javier is wonderful, he bent over backwards to make sure we were happy & got everything we needed. Our stay at Secret Harbour was top notch! We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We booked SHBR last minute to take a break and relax before the new school year. It was our first time to St. Thomas and it was during COVID. We followed all restrictions. We wore our masks and to be honest I felt more safe with not being exposed there than I do in the mainlands. All staff were very accommodating and always wearing masks and cleaning common areas with sanitizer. The food at sunset grill was wonderful and the snorkeling, oh wow - beautiful!! We brought our negative COVID results as recommended, and the resort was appreciative. It’s nice to know they ask their guests for proof and we were more than happy to comply for safety. On the last day our flight was delayed significantly and Javier was eager to allow us to check out later to avoid hours waiting at the airport. Most definitely would stay here again, it’s a perfect place for a family trip. Anticipating another stay after everything calms down <3 thank you so much ☺️ TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice beach but dated room / poor service
Aug 18th, 2020
Stayed here 4 nights on hillside 1 bedroom. It was a rough experience. I’ll first say the view was amazing and beach. That was about the only positive. I booked the one bedroom hillside and based my selection on the online pictures. The pictures were for a room that was updated or looked more updated than the room I was given. My room 531 was definitely outdated and were not like the pictures. I had multiple other issues there. First, with checking in they told me room 532 and there was someone already in it. They then said 531 which my key did not work. Front desk had switched the keys for both parties. Secondly, the maid left our door unlocked one day with all our valuables inside. Luckily nothing was stolen. Third, our room water was shut off without notice one day. I had to call front desk and had maintenance come check it out. It took an hour or more before it was resolved. The water was very dirty after. Lastly, the condo on the first floor two floor below was had work going on it seemed. Every morning I could hear the crew start around 9 am. Definitely not peaceful. I did contact the front desk and asked to speak with the manager. I was informed they were not there and asked them to call me later. I never received a call. Service from the staff seemed poor for the most part and were going through the motions despite all the issues I had. Overall, nice view and beach but that was it. The place was not worth the price I paid and could have found a nicer place elsewhere for the price point. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
