Great hotel for a layover

Apr 4th, 2020

I stayed at this hotel on a layover trying to get home during the coronavirus pandemic. Restaurants were closed when I arrived but there were sandwiches and salads available for purchase. The hotel is very close to the airport, and the airport shuttle was still running, which was very convenient. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

February Vacation

Apr 1st, 2020

My family and I love this hotel and all the staff that we have encountered. We also love the location of the Hotel. Very convenient to where we wanted to go. We stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights and it was our second time here. This will probably be our go to Hotel when coming to LA from now on. Thanks for a great stay. See you next year! Great Layover Stop

Mar 28th, 2020

Had to layover on our flight to SE Asia. Only a few minutes shuttle ride from the airport. Very efficient in getting us checked in. Room very satisfactory and comfortable. Free coffee. Room was reasonably priced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The new normal... at least for now

Mar 24th, 2020

I stay at this property constantly and was there just as the City enacted their shelter in place policy and closed most of the food service establishments. The hotel Management was right on top of things, rapidly enacted plans that would comply with emergency regulations while still accommodating guests that were there in the best way possible. This is no easy proposition. They have had to weigh providing for their customers with furloughing most of their service staff and complying with emergency regulations. In trying to keep this balance they have cut their room capacity in half but they are still open for business. We need to be optimistic and realize that while the current situation we are in is devistating but we will get through it and need to recognize our champions. Please look past the insanity of hording paper towels and toilet paper and think about something you can do later this year. Make a reservation now for a relaxing few days in LA where you can sit at the pool or visit some local shops and help with the recovery. Rest assured that the folks at the Sheraton will be there to take care of you. If you need to travel now for business, or family issues, services may be limited but these folks WILL take care of you. Not the Hotel you think it is.

Mar 23rd, 2020

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights as a send off gift from Los Angeles. Our 2 month trip was cut short by the Corona Virus. We opted to stay here based on reviews of services and accommodation. Well where do I start, no room service, no room cleaning, no restaurant, all hotel shops shut, only the Star Bucks Coffee shop was open and only from 6am to 2pm daily. You had to order take out food delivered to you door if you wanted a hot meal, they did provide cut sandwiches from 5pm to 7 pm in the bar area. One wonders what room service is if its not take out food delivered to your room? I spoke to the manager before departure about the lack of services and mentioned I could have stayed elsewhere for half the cost with the same lack of services only to be told tough luck. The room was semi clean when we moved in, they are also pretty small, the internet worked which was the only saving grace. In a word not what we expected and certainly not somewhere I'd be seeking to stay at again. You are a service and hospitality industry, perhaps you should let your staff know and read up what this means. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
