The Best Hotel Experience of my Life

Jun 15th, 2019

EVERYTHING was amazing. The rooms were ready as soon as we got there someone in my family hurt her ankle and they called urgent care for us and gave her a "feel better"bag. On the 33 floor there was a great breakfast, hors d'oeuvres bar, and one person working there was amazing Rene was very caring and funny. He was very interactive with all four of us kids and called the only boy of 4 children Bam Bam and Bam Bam loved Rene, we hated to leave. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nothing special

Jun 13th, 2019

I stayed here for 2 nights, I arrived late and they had no king rooms and they put me near the elevator (which is in my profile that I hate). The room was large, the bed was comfortable, but the shower was filled with mildew. Now that is not difficult to remove so come on Sheraton, up your game!! Back to the Hyatt or Fairmount for me!!! Overpriced, unkept, no service

Jun 11th, 2019

Just awful disappointment. I was there for conference. No service when booked to near 100% capacity, only ONE receptionist at 7AM during busy check out. Unbelievable. Terrible communication of staff, some rude. Operator was rude. The bill had incorrect mistaken room rate charges. And the $40 "upgrade" to executive lounge was a joke with very poor quality cheap fatty high carb breakfast and PM appetizers and only ONE staff member for entire hotel lounge. I will not be recommending this site for future meetings. Too bad. Good location. But fortunately, there are other good looking competitors nearby. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Felt Like Hime

Jun 7th, 2019

Stayed at the Sheraton Grand for a business conference and had a very good experience. The hotel is located in a great area with things to do. But Connie who takes care of the lounge on the 33rd floor made me feel at home the whole time I was there. Even after food was cleaned up she went back and got me a plate of what was left. On a few occasions she even made sure I left with plenty of snacks. Her hospitality is the reason why I will keep coming back here. Made me feel like this was home away from home. I travel a lot for work and have never felt so welcome every time I came to get a few waters and snacks. The great thing is that she does this with all of the guests and makes everyone smile and laugh. You will not be disappointed when staying here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely Hotel Has Everything You Need

Jun 7th, 2019

We stayed here Mother's Day weekend 2019. The hotel is very nice and I highly recommend it. The reception/ check-in lobby is large enough to accommodate lots of people arriving at the same. The bar and lounge areas are expansive and comfortable, with a nice view of the river. There is a club lounge room where breakfast is served and snacks and drinks are available all day. I recommend paying a little extra for the room rate in order to get the club lounge room access. Although the breakfast food isn't really that great, at least you can get a coffee and a bagel while the late-risers in your party are slowly waking up. There is an inexpensive but good burger joint on the lower level, a cafe and coffee shop, an elegant steakhouse restaurant, an indoor pool with adjacent workout facility, a nice bar, and best of all, the housekeeping staff are very friendly and did a great job keeping the room neat. If I had to complain about 1 or 2 things, neither of which are big deals, is that they only supply 1 bath towel for each person; I had to call housekeeping each evening to request 1 additional towel (which they DID promptly deliver). Also, since the rooms may not have been renovated within the last few years, there's a shortage of bedside outlets. In our room, the only outlets were on the nightstand-side of the 2 beds. Other than that, the hotel is in a great location. It is right next to the river and was close enough to walk to wherever we wanted to go. We took a train from the airport, and even though we had to walk a bit with our rolling suitcases it was okay because the river walk is so amazing with all those beautiful buildings to look at along the way.
