Business Trip - 1st Visit

Expedited check in upon arrival. Bed was very comfortable. I ordered the House Chicken Wings ($12) for light dinner. The following morning, I ordered the Breakfast Burrito ($10). Both room service orders were deliciously prepared. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

total rip off

We read an article stating that dogs stay free at Sheraton Hotels. We decided to visit family in Sacramento and booked a room for $240. When we arrived they offered to upgrade us to a suite for an addtional $100. We chose the suite. We were told that our card would be run for $100 for a "dog deposit" which I understood would be to cover damages if there were any. When we returned home we found our card has been charged for the total of $505.30 for one night. What an outrageous price to pay for a very outdated room. We will not be back and will never book a Sheraton or Marriott again, and we travel often. They should be ashamed of themselves. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect hotel for business trip - spacious and clean rooms and great location

Would highly recommend for a business trip. Stayed there 2 nights and it worked perfectly. I didn't use the restaurant but the new 2nd floor lounge was great. The rooms are spacious and clean. The area is great and walkable to numerous restaurants. The bellman were always willing to help even though I didn't need them. I would agree with comments on the front desk not being stellar. It seemed to a struggle each time I had to go there for something - 3 times, 3 different people. It was a little pricey though. Will come back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good value

Valet parking is $32 a night little pricey considering the neighborhood! The check in process was lengthy but overall the staff were attentive they could’ve used another guy at the desk.The restaurant is good. The quality of the food is also good. The rooms need a little updating however they are comfortable. Overall a pretty good hotel TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

OK facility, lousy experience

Check in went without a hitch; the problem came when we couldn't cool the room to a reasonable temperature (it was in the 50's outside, but in the mid 70's in the room); we survived. The next day, when my wife filled the bath tub, she found dark grey water - same from the sink. When she called the front desk, they notified engineering, who said that they had been working on the pipes, and we shouldn't drink the water (duh). So, she called the front desk to inquire about drinking water and was told there was plenty of water in the lobby, come on down! Because she was still waiting to shower, she asked if they could bring some drinking water and ice - so they delivered a couple of cartons (like the mild cartons we used to get a school) of water and two coffee cups of ice. I guess that was the best they could do. Overall, the staff seemed pretty nonchalant, not overly friendly, but not rude. Now I recall why I stopped staying at Sheratons - I though maybe that Marriott would have improved them some, but I guess not. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
