Work stay

Nov 7th, 2020

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice decor and good shower. It would have been a 4 had the air con not been stuck on cold, to be fair the front desk did send an engineer to look at the problem to no avail but an electric heater was provided which kept me warm TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ideal for T5

Oct 22nd, 2020

I spent a night here before an early flight from T5. The Sheraton is located on Colnbrook bypass, at the Western end of Heathrow. Terminal 5 is just 5 minutes away by bus 350 from right opposite the hotel (there is a Hotel Hoppa in normal times but its a complete rip off compared to the free TfL buses) . T2/3 are also very close. There's a Shell garage opposite which is handy if you've forgotten something. My room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of tea/coffee, plus decent storage and desk space. That said, the room was a fairly compact, and the decor a little boring. The lobby bar is really nice, and the food was excellent. Only gripe is that they only have bottled beer, not draught. The staff were fantastic throughout, all very friendly and outgoing. Overall, a pleasant enough hotel for a pre/post flight stay. Its not somewhere I'd pay a premium to stay at compared to other hotels in the area, and it's also worth considering the other Sheraton (Skyline) which is quite a bit better in my opinion, but I'd happily stay here again if the price was right. We stayed here for one night before flying out on honeymoon. We had been upgraded to a Club room and even without that and the lovely touches that the housekeeping team had added to the room, I could not find a fault with the hotel even if I tried. The welcome at reception was professional, polite, friendly and helpful. Everything was in place in terms of social distancing and safety given the strange pandemic times that we now love in, giving a feeling that all was as safe as it could possibly be (given the exception of the odd couple of guests who thought they were above having to wear masks. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on and was conducive to a great nights sleep before a very early start for the airport. The food and drinks were as expected price-wise but the food was better than expected. The staff throughout the hotel were superb in their levels of customer service. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone flying out of Heathrow and i most definitely look forward to returning there TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A Very 'Sterile' Visit!

Oct 1st, 2020

I spent the previous night in a lovely hotel with bar & restaurant facilities so was shocked to checkin at the Sheraton Heathrow & find it almost in darkness with nothing open - no coffee bar/shop, guest bar or restaurant. I am aware we are in the midst of a pandemic but this was rather extreme in my view. Had to venture out to a local pub to find some food & a beer for my one night stay. That said the hotel reception was very professional & friendly, the room was lovely (& spotlessly clean), and a great welcome & cooked breakfast provided in the morning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Stay

Sep 29th, 2020

A great hotel to stay in whilst visiting the local area. The room was very good, and the breakfast well organised with social distancing measures. Also only an hours ride away from Central London on the Piccadilly Line or Elizabeth Line from T5. One minor annoyance is that guests pay a different parking rate, but the signage in the car park encouraging payment via an app on entry does not state this, so we ended up paying almost double.
