I’ll be back

May 13th, 2019

Great place, Marc was super helpful! Here on business and the rooms were great. They just added the new TVs with internet. Definitely makes being on the road nice and easy. I will be back for more business and of course I’ll look here first. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Paying for 4 Stars hotel as an Ambassador member, but getting 1 service

May 7th, 2019

Absolutely TERRIBLE front desk service. Mindless, difficult & discourteous. They wouldn’t allow my wife to check-in the room despite the fact that she goes with the same last name as me. She had my Marriott Chase Reward card with my name on it. Despite the fact that I had checked in using the BoNVOY App. Old and poorly maintained rooms. Leaky shower head and non-operational cold water faucet in the only bathroom sink. Although, I had a room on the club level (once again, being an Ambassador, the HIGHEST level of loyalty that a 3 decades plus super loyal Marriott guest can achieve!!!) the club was poorly supplied with expected snacks, foods, drinks and fruits! Decent hotel near the convention center

May 7th, 2019

I chose this based on proximity to the convention center. It's connect by a skywalk that was closed for "improvement" the week I was there, but was still right around the corner on the street. It's definitely an old hotel that's been updated--it shows in some details like really old-looking buttons in the elevator. Room was adequate; the bedding and bathroom were clean. However, when I pulled out the desk chair there were crumbs and a food wrapper that hadn't been cleaned from a previous guest. I didn't have a "do not disturb" sign to put out so housekeeping knocked every morning while I was still in the room, including twice the morning that I was checking out. I ate lunch in the otherwise empty restaurant, which was good and reasonably priced. The service at the bar was great, the server remembered everyone's drink orders when we returned the following night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good hotel for convention center guests

May 2nd, 2019

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Inner Harbor during a conference at the Baltimore Convention Center. I had considered the Hilton as well, which is attached to the Convention Center, but chose the Sheraton based on some unfavorable reviews of the Hilton. I am glad I went with the Sheraton because it's literally right next door to the convention center and was clean and met all my needs. The hotel itself is a bit dated, with very thin walls and a shower (in Room 727) that struggled heavily with drainage. That said, because of proximity and cleanliness, I would definitely choose to stay here again if I had another event at the convention center. Just maybe come prepared with some earplugs unless you enjoy hearing your neighbor's TV and room service deliveries at midnight or his alarm at 5am. (Get some sleep, sir!) ;) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
