Good location, ok hotel

Mar 12th, 2020

This hotel is in a very convenient location, which was nice - easy walk to a lot of things in downtown Raleigh. The hotel itself was ok - nothing really bad, just a little tired and kind of noisy. The only real negative is that the parking structure across the street was full and had to go down the street to park my car - that was inconvenient. Staff were all quite friendly though. It looks like they are doing the best with what they have to work with. The best thing about the hotel was the complimentary breakfast on the club level - good selection, good quality, very clean and well-stocked, friendly staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Often a busy lobby wih a convention going on

Mar 9th, 2020

the are clean and comfortable. The maid service is slow. The most negative is the bad service in the dining roo. You can wait over 20 minutes to be seated even if there are available tables. the service is painfully slow. They are just inefficient in the restaurant, TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Noisy and tired hotel

Mar 1st, 2020

I have done over 3000 reviews and have to classify this as Dangerous! I have no idea what they were thinking when they put sliding glass doors on the exterior of the building by the elevators. This must be a safety violation? (See photo) seriously? Rooms jaded. I detest hotels that still have a shower head inside the bath ....it’s dangerous and difficult for many people. Elevators slow and old. Lots of noise from a party upstairs on Saturday night. Terrible. Seriously hard to find something good to say about it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Paper thin walls

Bring your earplugs because one can hear the conversations of adjacent guests. Also bring shampoo and soap. My room had neither and the staff took over an hour to bring some to me. I've had better experiences at plain 2 star hotels. :( TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
