Amazing Service

May 21st, 2019

We stayed at the Sheraton in downtown Raleigh last weekend for a family wedding. We arrived prior to 11:00 on Friday morning, and although check-in was not until 4:00 p.m. the woman at the desk said that we would get the first room available since we had been up since 3:00 a.m. that day. We sat in the lobby for approximately 10 minutes, expecting to wait much longer, and then were given a key to our room. It was wonderful to be able to have a nap and catch up on much needed sleep prior to the wedding festivities which began that evening. The hotel room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The next day, an error was made at the front desk and another couple was given a key to our room. When they opened our door we were more than surprised, but they apologized and returned to the desk. We know this kind of mistake can happen, and were stunned when the manager for the weekend gave us compensation which was far and above anything we ever expected. We didn't even ask for an apology or compensation, it was offered without us even complaining. We would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Raleigh. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stellar Front Desk!

I have a block of rooms for my wedding reception being held there, and Angelia went above and beyond to assist my sister and I with our complicated room requests. I really appreciate her positive attitude and willingness to help accommodate our requests. She really went above and beyond to help us with early check-ins, pre-assigning our rooms and making sure everything is smooth. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Comfort and Service

Apr 24th, 2019

A weekend stay at the Sheraton was very enjoyable. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed linens and towels were soft and good quality. A sitting area, desk and TV were included in the room, as well as ample charging outlets for electronics. We enjoyed some fine beer on tap and a few good glasses of wine at Jimmy V.'s. Cafe Siena served up good coffee and quick breakfast bites. The highlight of our stay was a wedding reception. Food was very good and the staff accommodating. The room was comfortable and not overcrowded - although the dance floor could have been bigger at times! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Congenial

Apr 20th, 2019

The Sheraton Raleigh is beautifully converted space, and looks new with new design and furniture. The restoration is discreet and beautifully appointed. The hotel has 2 entrances, one which opens up to Fayetteville, primarily better access for walking into downtown, and the other entrance at Salisbury, for better access to parking. The location is handy to restaurants downtown, as well as the bus station two blocks in front. There's a Starbucks, couple of takeaways on the same street and a McDonald's in the direction of Lenoir St. There's also dollar general convenience store DGX right on E. Davie Street itself and a CVS three blocks north of Sheraton. Sheraton itself has lovely guest rooms, which are both tiled and carpeted. Plenty of wall outlets to plug your devices into, and a nice long table to work from. The beds are high and comfortable. Everything looks clean, warm and inviting, earning it the title of 'congenial'. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
