Unfortunate choice for a Saturday night

Jul 21st, 2019

My husband and I chkd in and were happy to be upgraded to the Concierge floor. Unfortunately that happened to be the floor where a large Wedding party was staying as well. We were awake until abt 4:00 in the morning due to slamming doors, running feet and loud voices. At 2:00 called down to front desk but not much they could do. Tried to sleep in but realized we were in a room next to housekeeping. More slamming doors and loud voices. I believe that when we chkd in we should have been advised that we were on a floor with a lot of Wedding guests. Would have tried a different floor. Management did give us back points for our troubled nights sleep when I complained the next morning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Mediocre Business Travel Hotel

Jul 15th, 2019

This hotel is just fine if you're visiting one of the nearby companies. There isn't much around, so I highly suggest a rental car for your trip if you are put up here. The hotel itself needs some TLC, furniture is old, and they don't replace toiletries. We had half full ones when we check in. Super weird. I found the staff to be very nice and helpful, just found the overall hotel to be a bit lackluster for what they charge mid week. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very Conviently Located

May 7th, 2019

I needed to have a medical procedure very close to this property and staying here worked out great. The food we had was very Good and the service by the hotel staff was professional and timely. The room's worked out great and were very clean. The only problem was the beds. Many people would like the beds but for us they were way to soft and using 4 pillows was like using 1. We need firm because of back problems. Many people would like this problem for the comfort but for back problems they were not so great. This is not a complaint, just a comment! Front Desk needs a hospitality lesson

Apr 17th, 2019

The hotel itself was fine. We were traveling for a sports tournament. We had approximately 30 hotel stays this year. The front desk staff, namely Michael, was horrible. At check in I was treated rudely. My husband was arriving separately. Michael decided that despite having been booked with my husband’s Marriott reward number we were denied our benefits (breakfast, happy hour, room upgrade). Michael actually went out of his way to take the number off of the reservation. My husband had to call Marriott separately. Thankfully the issue was corrected by them. At check out Michael was again at the front desk. I mentioned the issue and he said your husband’s number was taken off of the reservation and you won’t get credit for the stay. Wow. It’s a shame that this was my first impression at this stay. The hotel itself was nice. Good location. Good gym. Please address this issue with Michael. We are scheduled to return to the twin cities. And will not stay at this hotel until we know the issue has been addressed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Stay Until I Got the Bill

Apr 10th, 2019

Room was very comfortable. Great mattress. Hotel was quiet. Everything was great until I got the bill at checout. They added a "Room Revenue" charge of $10.39. I asked what that was and the front desk clerk said it was a tax. But it is not a tax. I asked others and it turns out it is a surcharge that hotels add at peak occassions as a way to increase the price of the room without you realizing it. Very disappointed with this underhanded and unethical practice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
