I would rate the hotel as average. Our hotel room is clean. Due to Covid, unfortunately, we were not able to experience many of the amenities, except for the pool. The place is quite outdated and far from other restaurants and points of interest. We made a mistake by not renting a car, and Uber is about $20-27 one way to the city (Scottsdale area). Normally, they have free shuttles, but due to the pandemic, the shuttles were not running. In addition, due to Covid, there are no amenities in your hotel room except for water. For example, no sodas or snacks in the fridge, or coffee, and no daily housekeeping. Given our situation, I can totally understand why this is important.. We stayed for 4 nights and I maintained cleanliness in our own room by wiping down and making our own bed, and even put all soiled towels in the bathtub. I called guest services 1 time (on our 3rd day) to kindly request that they take the used towels and empty the wastebaskets, which I don’t think is too much to ask for, because after all, we are staying at the Grand Sheraton? The representative advised they will have this done right away, but they never did. My husband and I were out all afternoon and arrived back at the hotel around 9 pm, and to my dismay, nothing was done. I really had such high hopes for the the Marriott chain of hotels, given we also just had our wedding at a Marriott hotel last year, and it was such a nice experience! I remember even asking him, I wonder if they will go above and beyond and actually clean our room? I was so disappointed to get back and discover they never took the garbage or the soiled towels. I know it’s not the end of the world, but it’s the little things that matter sometimes and the fact that there was no follow through with my request.... :( Sorry to say, will not be coming back to stay at this resort. We decided to do a staycation for Mother’s Day at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass as a bit of a getaway from the normal routine during the coronavirus lockdown. After speaking to the resort staff and better understanding the hotel processes, we felt that we could safely have a stay there, especially given that there was almost no one else at the resort. The resort is a very nice property. The grounds are very well maintained and there are plenty of nice spaces both inside and outside for sitting and enjoying the beautiful scenery around the hotel. While the pools and majority of the facilities were closed due to the virus, we were still able to enjoy our time at the resort. We got an upgraded room to one of the executive suites and this was a nice set-up for our party of four. We had four including my wife and I, our 4 year old son, and my wife’s mother. My wife’s mother and our son shared the sofa bed in the living room and my wife and I were able to take the king bed in the separate bedroom. The set-up is good for a group as the bathroom has separate entrances from both the living room and the bedroom eliminating the need for guests to go through the master bedroom to get to the bath. The hotel is in the process of renovating and the new décor and room features are very appealing and comfortable. The staff, service and food at the resort were all fabulous. While there were limited guests to support, the staff all made us feel that they were truly happy to have us there and wanted to make us feel special. While the food and restaurant options were limited with the virus, the food was all very good and the menu had a nice variety of options. It was actually some of the best hotel food my wife and I have had, and we travel extensively. Overall, a very pleasant getaway from the rigors of life at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass. We are looking forward to visiting again soon once the resort is running back at full operations. We had such a great time with limited amenities available, so we can’t wait to stay again with the full service offerings of the resort. It is comparable to the JW properties in town, but comes at a more economical price, so a great new option for us in Phoenix when we do future staycations. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I have stayed at the Wild Horse Pass Resort many times, but not for the last 2 years, it is as nice as always ( a bit of renovation ) on the south end of the hotel, but you wouldn’t know it other than guest parking. Super clean, first class everywhere you visit! The spa, the pool, the bar, even the running/walking path through the desert is groomed every morning. The staff is always top of the line & beyond friendly. It is NOT low priced...But, you will be hard pressed to find anything wrong, anywhere! They welcome NHRA race teams & car owners. They have the best spa around! I had my massage and facial and spent the rest of the day relaxing by the Aji spa pool! Try the cheese plate with the sparkling wine! Next time we are going to try the Mustang and Massage Day! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
