Exceptional Service & Most Inviting Accommodations.

May 25th, 2019

Upon arrival I received a warm welcome from the attendants. Upon check-in Emmanuel made me feel at home and attended to my questions and my needs. The entire staff at Sir Joan welcomed me with warm smiles and provided information on places to see, visit and was most attentive to what I desired to do. The photos of the Hotel provided on the website was identical to the exact accommodations shown. The Hotel was absolutely spotless. The restaurants on-site and live entertainment was enjoyable. If you plan to visit IBIZA, the Sir Joan Hotel is the place to be. I highly recommend staying here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic service in a stylish hotel

Great hotel! The staff are all lovely and very helpful. We stayed here for a girls' weekend and the staff could not have been any nicer. We loved the rooms, the breakfast and the bar area. We booked the penthouse and it was fabulous, views across the old city, which is only a 10 min walk away. Others had the smaller rooms which were also comfortable. The beds were firm but comfy and the choice of pillows is always a bonus. Even though the hotel is surrounded by noisy roads, the insulation is good and we were not bothered by traffic noise at all. We also borrowed the bicycles and enjoyed biking around the city. A highly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Gem in the city

May 7th, 2019

My sister had such a nice 2 night visit at Sir Joan Hotel end of April. It was still low season for Ibiza so the city was a bit quiet but we were totally ok with that. The front desk staff was fantastic from greeting us as we drove up to getting us settled in our room and giving us recommendations for food in the area. We were disappointed that the Izakaya resto closes for the low season and is scheduled to open soon but such is life... Our first day we took some of recommendations and walked through Old Town Ibiza and got some tapas and wine and shopped around - nice walk or easy to cab to. We went to La Oliva in Dalt Vila for dinner per the recommendation of a friend - very cozy and friendly staff - pretty reasonable prices for the quality of food - fantastic oysters, carpaccio, salad, olives.. they sent us to Popa Ibiza for drinks after dinner - 2 doors down. David was bartending and was fantastic - he was from Paraguay I believe and worked in Vegas bartending for 9 years and doing competitions -the drinks were fantastic and creative and the entertainment was even better. We saw there were light bites available as well that looked delicious. We were told that we should probably have a car but since were there for such a short stay, we didn't. The next day we took a cab to Paloma Cafe - about 20 min 20Euros. This place is fantastic. Lemon and orange trees everywhere... all outdoor seating - get reservations. Even in the low season they were completely booked. Tons of great wine, we had an orange wine, juices and smoothies... all healthy phenomenal food options - we had a cream soup, I can't remember what it was... and a soba noodle entree and a falafal entree to share as well as an orange cake dessert. Amazing. Then we had a pool day at Sir Joan - the pool was beautiful and not crowded at all - only 2 other people there. The bartender brought us drinks and olives, etc and we layed out and lounged.. That evening we stayed at the hotel for dinner and had the pleasure of having Hassan as our server and bartender. He literally made our night - he was so kind and funny and read our table that we were interested in chatting with him - he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the hotel and about food and wine. He gave us great suggestions and was on point. We moved to the bar after dinner and spent some time with more wine and after dinner drinks with Hassan and learned a bit about him and his hospitality path. I'd love to have him here at a restaurant or hotel in my town - he would be a draw! Sir Joan is lucky to have him. I would definitely go back to Sir Joan.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It has been the second time returning to this sexy Hotel and I can only reconfirm what I have written a year ago! Design flaws?! None what so ever! Very cool vibe, great food with fantastic staff who are genuine and go beyond to make your stay pleasant and have best tips for the Island. Mentioning a few, Emilia, Gerard, Hassan Gracias por ser tan amables y pacientes con todas las peticiones! See you next time! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Absolutely amazing

There are so many great things to say about the Sir Joan. Ignatio and his team all deserve a special mention. They were incredibly attentive and willing to help us. We were a large group so their help suggesting and booking restaurants, taxis, and ideas of what to do really helped us. It was a special birthday occasion and the hotel team made it one we will always remember for all the right reasons. Special thanks are due to Ariadna, Nellie, and Hassam but everyone else was fantastic too. The design and decor of the hotel is truly impressive and has a real wow factor. Cleanliness was exceptional, the bar facilities were excellent, and the breakfast options were generous and varied. Thank you for making our birthdays so special. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
