Toilet exploded and carpet was filthy

When I arrived the front desk guy seemed bothered that I was there to check in. He was upset that I had to transfer money from one account to another to provide them a card with my name on it for incidentals. The first room I had the toilet overflowed and flooded the room. Just for flushing it. They moved us to another room where the fridge didn't work and the carpet was horribly smelly and seemed filthy. It's been over a week and I still have not received my incidental deposit back. I assume they will blame me for something. Like I had enough time to mung up the carpet to that mungyness, or I made the toilet explode. Entire building needs help. I would recommend steering clear of this place. It's not worth the low price for a deceitful 3 star. I would kindly like my deposit returned. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Shamed , humiliated and yelled at and bullied for being a woman, havi g a cycle and asking for new bedding...

So I've been here over a week and I offer stay here when I'm in town because the staff is usually on it and friendly and welcoming... This week I have been yelled at and shamed twice.. 3 days ago I asked the maid for a new duvet because mine was soiled . Five minutes later, the guy from the front desk, Artie calls yelling at me that my service dog soiled the bedding and he needed 100 dollar deposit right then.. I told him my dog was house broken and had NEVER had an accident and that I , an over 21, consenting adults woman in fact had soiled the sheets during adult hotel activity. He yelled at me that my dog did it and I said no I did I had sex on it! I received NO BLANKET and was angry and humiliated and couldn't do a thing about it til next morning gave him deposit and made nice.... Well, yes in AMERICA peeps today I FINALLY after two calls got some maid service and needed a new duvet cuz guess what? I'm a lady how has a cycle!!! Go figure.. the head maid said there were no blankets for me to have. When I politely pressed the issue and handed over a generous tip she said she would have to wash and dry that blanket and bring it back in three hours.. I said not acceptable. I said find a blanket please in an unused room, I know the hotel is practically vacant... I walk into room and phone is ringing immeafiately, it's Artie yelling me very agressively that the staff cannot be providing me with a clean blanket every day. I said it's not everyday and I am on my cycle like many woman currently staying in hotels and that I would be needing a clean blanket. He continued to yell at me and humiliated me and I hung up. He kept calling back. I ignored him and called choice reservations to file a formal complaint. It has been an hour since I asked for a blanket. No blankets has been brought yet.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Good hotel near airport

Stayed at this Sleep Inn location for a couple of nights prior to leaving Albuquerque. Our group had just ended our history tour and a few of us decided to stay a couple of extra days to see the area. Staff was very good and breakfast was also good with omelets made to order. Hotel also had a shuttle to and from the airport which made things easier. Would likely stay here again the next time I'm in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Hotel Needs Work

Stayed at Sleep Inn for two nights in late February 2020. Booking site said it was 3 stars, it's not. It is no better than 1.5, and this is because of the value with breakfast. The staff and management are polite and helpful, the facilities are just run down. We checked into our first room, and the carpet was filthy and stained and cigarette butts on the floor. We asked for a new room. In the new room, the carpet was slightly better, but still not very good. Other problems included the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, the hardware to close the pocket door for the bathroom was gone (and there was a large hole), the office chair did not work, the armoire cabinet doors were out of whack, the plastic on the bottom of the TV looked melted and the stopper in the sink was gone! That is a lot wrong with one hotel room. Why did we stay? Well, it was about 8:30 pm, the beds and bathroom looked reasonable, they had breakfast, it was close to where we needed to be the next morning, and the room was pre-paid. We were kind of stuck there. The next morning, we had a mediocre, crowded, and under supplied breakfast. I then asked the front desk to at least fix the fan, the hardware in the door, and put a stopper in the sink while we were out the next day. They put in a stopper but nothing else. I expect that if I went back in 6 months, all the same stuff would still be wrong. My recommendation is to stay somewhere else where everything works or they will fix it. If you actually want a lower end hotel (and we didn't), there are lots of better choices near the airport. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A great deal at a great location

Clean, well lit room, with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water and towels. This is what I look for, and this is what I got. My only regret was that I did not get the names of all the wonderful employees (everyone I dealt with) so I could give them a shout out! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
