nice hotel

Pretty decent and nice. the first stay wasn't so horrible not bad for the price. The 2nd stay was a little worse than the first. Our room was just horrible smelling because we asked for a floor room and all they had was smoking. Even though we weren't gonna smoke in it the room still smelled horrible. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Solid hotel for the value. A great surprise for an SEC Football weekend.

Oct 23rd, 2019

I have traveled throughout the country, but especially during college football weekends for personal pleasure. There is nothing worse than visiting a college town (not a city) where your hotel options are limited and overpriced. You always have to read the reviews as a lower chain hotel can charged 5 times the value with 10 time less clean and service. I hate getting gouged for a dirty room just because it's close to campus. This hotel was perfect for my needs. The room was clean. The beds were made perfect and sheets were white and clean. There was a coffee maker and a refrigerator. The refrigerator was inside a cabinet. Each room is equipped with a flat screen 32" television with a very clear picture. I was able to connect my Roku and use the wifi to stream other college football games when we returned from the Arkansas game. The room had a working air conditioner and the shower was more than efficient, hot water, solid pressure and I'm 5'10 with more than enough room. There were four towels left each day. This hotel also has interior corridors, which make it easier for the housekeeping staff to be efficient and keep the undesirable issues that one with exterior corridors have. The continental breakfast was about average, but that's all you can expect. There's a Whataburger about 5 minutes away. Campus can be made in a $9-12 rideshare. The front desk clerks were pleasant and as someone who does spent several nights a year in 4-5 Star Hotels for business, I was more than happy to leave tips for the housekeeping, which met all the needs and more. This was better than some of the higher trend hotels. It's a steal for those coming in town for a sporting event and want a nice place to stay when you're not at the event. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Weary traveler

Sep 30th, 2019

In reading some of the reviews, I was almost hesitant to stay here, but I’m glad that I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They have an AMAZING staff, especially Tracey & Carol, not to mention the housekeepers I encountered (sorry, I forgot your names!) other reviews stated the showers were too small & that there were no bathroom doors... ummm, they have pocket doors ... lol!! And, I thought the showers were amazing! I’m 5’11” and had no issues. Beds & pillows were super-comfortable. And, the complementary breakfast quite nice. Thank you from one tired traveler!! Basic Hotel

Aug 25th, 2019

The room had a mildew smell, but appeared fairly clean. The beds were double, not queens. The breakfast was adequate with a decent amount of choices. Nothing about this hotel stood out....it's fairly average. The location is great to get to anything in Fayetteville. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Skip this one for others at the same price-point

There are probably better options in the area for this price-point. It wasn't a bad stay, but 2 nights in the room with 3 people was not ideal. The beds are double (full) size beds, not queens, so sleeping 2 adults to a bed was tight. The rooms are small and cramped too so 2 people up moving about the room at the same time meant we were constantly in each other's way. There was a general lack of attention to detail like the caulking was coming off the counter at the front desk; the first sign. The door wasn't hung flush with the door jamb so light was coming through on all sides. There was a fridge in the room, but it was set in the middle of the floor blocking the way into the bathroom; we had to unplug it and shove it under the desk. There was a lot of black mold on the wall (7x4 inch area) above the shower door in the bathroom but the rest of the bathroom was completely clean (not the fault of the cleaning staff). The shower/toilet is separate from the sink area and it has a fan, a pleasant surprise. The shower is a plastic pod with little room for ventilation and we had to bend down to get our heads under the shower head even though the tallest one of us is 5ft 5inches tall. The floors had not been vacuumed under the edge of the bed, but the main areas were clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Our room faced the highway and once or twice we heard trucks or motorcycles drive by with loud mufflers. We could hear some noise from the room next door, especially when they were getting ready in the morning. The wifi was completely unsecured without a password and there is a restaurant and another hotel right next door so it is feasible that other people would be nearby. The coffee was not good, but the rest of the breakfast options were typical for Sleep Inns. I would pass on this one, but would do it again without mild annoyance if similar options weren't available. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
