Good Stay

Oct 9th, 2019

Had a comfortable and clean room. There was road noise for my room during the day, but it settled down at night. Enjoyed free coffee and breakfast. Staff was pleasant. Just note that this hotel does accept pets. I did not, however, encounter a problem with this. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very comfortable!

We were trying to beat the heat on a 98 degree day and chose to stay at the sleep inn in Midland. It was a great price for a very very nice room. the staff was friendly and accommodating and I cannot say anything bad about the stay in this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Surprisingly nice for a Sleep Inn in Midland!

May 30th, 2019

I was pleasantly surprised when entering this hotel and our room. I was expecting this to be a not great hotel, considering the location and that it's not an exclusively expensive hotel. Firstly, when checking in there was apparently a boy's birthday party happening on the same floor that we were going to be staying on. The AMAZING concierge person changed our room to an entirely different floor so that we weren't bothered by the noise all night long. Couldn't have been more grateful of them. The bed was comfortable, and the room spacious. I couldn't have been happier with a less than $100 a night stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very poor customer service. Assistant manager (K.L.) has poor conflict resolution skills.

Apr 11th, 2019

I have been staying in this hotel twice a year for about five years. Issues: 1. I was not greeted, told about wifi or breakfast times. No mention of my elite gold status with choice privileges. Unpleasant beginning. 2. I was unable to book a room with a king size bed online ( I booked 2 months in advance). I was told on arrival that what is available online isn’t the same as what is truly available. I should call the hotel to book. This isn’t mentioned on the website. I don’t imagine choicehotels.com would appreciate knowing about this approach. 2. When I reserve (online), I should indicate a pet room is required. There is no mention of this on the hotel website. 3. I waited at least 5-10 minutes while a new room was looked for. I was given a room, was settled in and then told to move to another room. When I tried to explain that this was inappropriate, it was apparent that this fellow has very poor listening skills. It is apparent that the front desk did not want to do the work required to move us to an appropriate room. Just moved us to another for their convenience. How is this good guest service? Customers must adjust themselves to the whims of the front desk staff. 4. When I asked to speak with the manager, he was untruthful. He isn’t the manager. Later I asked if I could speak to the manager/ owner, I was told he went home. There was no aplology. 5. Very noisy with group of young athletes. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Staff - Great Price

Jan 21st, 2019

I fondly remember this place when I was on a trip last week at a more expensive hotel that had terrible service. I missed the friendly staff and the warm feeling that I had at the Sleep Inn in Midland (in spite of the fact that it was -17 while I was there). Breakfast was good and there was plenty of it. The room was clean and adequate. The lobby and common areas could have used an update, but that didn't bother me. I was actually there in January 2018, but the drop down wouldn't let me choose that.
