Terrific affordable motel for a ski base. Pet friendly and they mean it.

Oct 16th, 2020

I do not expect an inexpensive motel to be perfect so I do not nitpick. I expect a motel to have friendly staff, listen to me if I have complaints and fix them, be clean, be safe and be pet friendly when it says it is pet friendly. I like a quick breakfast before I take off to ski. This motel fulfills my expectations at an affordable price for me. I was here in December and still stand by my very positive review then. I returned for two weeks of skiing in January. I will return next ski season. It is my new ski base. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst hotel experience

Jul 7th, 2020

When entering our room, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned or even vacuumed and the toiletries looked used. Lots of damage to the room as well. Around midnight our AC unit began to smoke excessively, setting off the fire alarm and waking up/alarming my children and I. When I asked to be moved to a safer room the attendant was rude and said, "It's not like it'd going to spontaneously combust" until I demanded to be moved, and then the room we ended up with didn't even have a smoke detector. The next morning the manager was extremely sweet and helpful, but both night attendants were of absolutely no help. That is the first and last time I will ever stay at that location. I lost count of how many safety and health code violations I took pictures of. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! We booked 2 rooms; one had a broken lock that was not properly fixed during our stay . There were ants in both rooms’ shower areas. That’s not the worst! Due to illness, we left a day early. In an effort refund the already paid for night, we ended up with $900 more in charges to our account! We called the hotel; the person at the desk promised a call back from a manager which still hasn’t been made 2 days later! NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS 1 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Hospitality and customer service

Feb 22nd, 2020

HOSPITALITY HOSPITALITY HOSPITALITY When We arrived on property we were welcomed quite nicely by the clerk at front desk A.J after checking into our room for the first night we decided we would like to change rooms and face in a different direction the hotel staff was very accommodatinhad no problem giving us our request we were super impressed with the staff in itself they are very helpful The property is super clean the pool is excellent and after many days of skiing the Jacuzzi was an excellent way to end our days We informed Misty the manger of the property That housekeeping had forgot to service our room one of the days her customer service was beyond believe she actually credited us back that night we will certainly be back based on the hospitality and cleanliness of the property. This Motel Will Be My New Base for my Twice a Year Solo Ski Trips to SLC. Truly Pet and Human Friendly

Dec 30th, 2019

I reserved at this motel due to its truly friendly pet policy, value and location. My entire six day stay was a positive experience for my dog and me. I felt welcome and safe. My well behaved dog was welcomed. I would have a good complementary breakfast and then head out to bus up to the ski areas. My WELL BEHAVED dog could stay back in the room as long as I did not want housekeeping. Now, compared to most other motels, THAT policy is pet friendly and skier friendly; dogs are not allowed in the Cottonwood Canyons and skiers are encouraged to take the ski bus to cut down on pollution and traffic in the Canyons. The Super 8s and Days Inns I used to stay in do NOT allow dogs to stay behind so I always felt caught between a rock and a hard place. My problem is solved. I will be back here in January !
