A hotel staff so caring, we came to feel almost like family.

My 90-year-old mother and I received care that was above and beyond any and all expectations in a very difficult season of our lives -- the COVID 19 Pandemic. From the moment we received our welcome by Laney, the general manager, she and her staff did everything they could to make our lengthy stay with them -- we were there about 5 weeks altogether -- pleasurable and met all our needs, often asking if there was anything more they could do for us. They made us feel safe, cared for and almost like family. All the facilities were in exceptionally excellent condition and the service that was provided to us was always prompt, courteous and even kind. We grew to love each and every person on that staff, each of whom always served us graciously, even in a season when all people were under duress. We will never forget the great gift this was to us as we waited for a safe time for us to return to New York, where the pandemic was strong. Thank you to everyone. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude! Thank you, Laney and team! We love you and we will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The hotel has a bungalows concept that has 4 rooms each. It is relatively new and everything is neat. The rooms are spacious with a sofa and a small kitchenette. The hotel is very close to the freeway but no noise is heard inside the rooms. Breakfast has oatmeal, cereals, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea, bagels among others. I do not hesitate to recommend it for your visit to Jacksonville. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was our first stay at a Sonesta property. We arrived in town & searched for our usual chains that we stay at and the prices were so outside of what we normally pay or sold out that we searched for alternate lodging. Sonesta kept coming up...so after looking at the reviews coupled with the more than reasonable rate we decided to give it a go. All I can say is that, we definitely look forward to staying at another property in our future travels! From the smooth check-in, to the robust breakfast buffet it made the 1 night stay a WIN in our book. I want to mention the stellar customer service provided by Flo the solo kitchen employee that kept all of the demanding and last minute guest requests happen, all while maintaining a magnificent attitude! Flo is a rockstar and deserves nothing but goodness! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I wasn’t very familiar with the hotel when I booked it. The area has much cheaper and in many cases run down hotels but this place was well maintained and a great place to stay. From check we were greeted and welcomed. The complimentary breakfast each day was wonderful and the woman working each morning was very friendly. The pool and outdoor seating was very nice. I wasn’t able to attend the social meeting for guests but was very please with the room, space and cleanliness of everything. I would recommend this hotel for short or long term stays. Shout out to Sonesta ES Suites for their proactive approach to environmental concerns. My suite had a dispenser for shampoo, condition and shower gel. The breakfast had reusable plates and silverware as well as biodegradable plates. The suite itself was great and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
