Visited on Reopening Day 6/5/20

Jun 5th, 2020

This is my first visit to a Sonesta. We normally stay at the Westin. The staff are polite and did a nice job of social distancing / wearing masks. Restaurant were closed except for grab and go which is expected now. My biggest complaint of this visit is the cleanliness of the room. The was a seal on the door stating it was cleaned BUT there are cigarettes buts on the balcony, the water would not drain properly in the shower, no soap in the soap dispenser, and some stains on the bed skirt. For $312 a with fees and taxes, this will drive my business elsewhere. I wish them all the best - all the staff seem like really nice people and eager to help. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hilton head Island is our Paradise!

Apr 23rd, 2020

One of our very favourite places in America is Hilton Head Island! With its perfect twelve miles of fine sand beaches, massive live oak trees mixed with gently swaying palms and the friendliest people you'll ever meet where Southern hospitality takes on a whole new meaning. Stunning hotels resorts and restaurants have very reasonable prices, just the icing on the cake. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect ... nothing else to say

Apr 12th, 2020

First ... the staff was excellent. We’ve stayed at many a different resorts and nowhere way the staff more welcoming and helpful. Rooms... very nice. Clean and comfortable. The only downside is the view from the balcony is very limited. For a beachfront resort very few of the rooms, if any , actually have a view of the beach. And the walk from the elevator is considerable from most of the rooms. Not that big. De because we were there in the off season but in high season I would I,give the elevator would become. Bottleneck Breakfast - overpriced TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pleasant Stay

Apr 5th, 2020

Had the opportunity to stay here just before the coronavirus impacted South Carolina. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful in the trying circumstances, and it had nice grounds and beach access. The rooms could use some updating. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
