Hide Away and never leave

This charming Inn is greatness. Our suite was spectacular. Fireplace. A balcony and a deck!! Immaculate. So very clean. The breakfast was not my cup of tea. BUT this is THE secluded romantic spot among the most amazing scenery. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It's a MOTEL

Jun 26th, 2020

Let's be perfectly clear - despite charging a $10 per night "resort" fee, this is a motel not a resort. Hanging a terry cloth robe in the closet does not make it a resort. Located right on the busy highway just south of town in a commercial area, it just doesn't have the feel of a resort or any of the amenities. All room entrances open directly to the outside which is a minus for security. We paid additional for the "breakfast included" option on Agoda but due to the COVID crisis (understandably) there was no breakfast provided; rather only bottled apple or orange juice, some mini cups of yogurt and some quite stale muffins or granola bars. Yet, no discount or adjustment on price was offered. Had I known I would have selected the lower priced "no breakfast" option. The room was very nice and was clean and the staff friendly. However for the price I could have picked a chain motel and been just as pleased while saving about 25-30%. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We felt they had our health + safety in mind!

Jun 12th, 2020

We visited during Memorial Day weekend, shortly after Arizona lifted their SIP orders. We arrived a little later in the day, but Kat was there to welcome us and check us in. They had their plexiglass barriers up at reception, and check in was quick, informative, and very easy. Our room was on the second floor/corner, closest to reception, Suite 210 and it had a great view of the red rocks. Parking lot was easy, plenty of places to park, and Suite 210 had its own stairs leading up to the room. The room was very clean, and very spacious! We had no trouble with noise at all, especially being one of the rooms closest to the entrance. Morning breakfasts were bagged with the current guidelines going on, which consisted of a muffin, fruit, apple juice, and a granola bar. We definitely felt that they had our safety in mind, and would be happy to stay here again! Thank you for making the first trip out of SIP a good one! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We WILL be back.

Beautiful, very clean, super comfortable beds. Rooms have patios or balconies facing east and the views are wonderful. Kat checked us in and she was so upbeat and friendly, and gave us suggestions for places for dinner since we arrived late. She had a lot of suggestions and was very helpful. The lady who checked us out was also great but didn't get her name. Hands down, next trip this is where we are staying! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful room and I felt well cared for

May 11th, 2020

I manage a hotel and truly appreciated my stay at this one.The Southwest Inn at Sedona saved the day. I was in Sedona, on an essential visit, and stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. The parking lot was clean and easy to navigate. I was greeted in the lobby by Crystalina (sp?). They have the new plexiglass barriers and she made the check in quick and efficient. My room was on the second floor close to where I parked my Jeep. I prefer exterior entrances and this one has a nice stair landing, making it easy to carry luggage in and out. The room had a nice view of the mountains, working fireplace, fridge, coffee maker, nice furniture and a huge bathroom with high ceilings. Everything was clean, fresh and you can tell the team cares. The room rates were comparable to the neighboring hotels I would definitely call them direct to book next time I am in Sedona. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
