Nice place and pet freindly

The room was very spacious and staff was great. They would have gotten 5 stars but the cleaning people left a dirty washcloth in the sink. We have had better breakfast options during this pandemic but it was sufficient. Chris was very nice and answered all our questions and concerns. Will stay here again when in the area. Great Room, Great Property, Great Location

We stayed for 3 nights. It was less expensive than staying in downtown Charleston, but it turned out to be the best location. It was very easy to get on the bridge to get to downtown. Parking was easy and free. There were lots of good restaurants to get carry out. And it was extremely close to the pier for the Fort Sumter tour. Our room was spacious enough, good beds and a large bathroom. There was room at the sofa, table and desk to eat our meals during the pandemic-time. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the lack of a freezer or at least a freezer shelf. We like to be able to freeze our water bottles for our day out touring (it was 95-97 degrees the days we were there!). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Needs improvement.

Well...my first issue...We were close to running out of toilet paper, so we called the front desk to request a spare roll. We were told we would have to go down to the front desk to get it ourselves because they did not have someone available to deliver it. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but....the elevators were out of service and we were on the 5th floor. There was no housekeeping during our stay due to COVID, which is understandable, but the hotel SHOULD have someone available to deliver needed items to guests when they run out. My second issue....there was a lot of rat/mouse poop on the window sill of the second floor stairway. If the elevators were working, I would never have seen it. The rooms were nice. Stains on the sheets and bedspreads and crumbs on the rug, but they were nice nonetheless. Comfortable beds. Nice huge closet and bathroom. Breakfast was grab and go. Niutrigrain bars, pop tarts, cereal, apples and yogurt. Overall, stay was ok but wouldn’t stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We were anxiously waiting for the birth of our grandson. Cheryl and her staff made sure we were comfortable during our stay and we soon felt like longtime friends. They were also very accommodating when we had to keep changing our departure date. Looking forward to visiting again soon, especially since we now have a healthy baby boy to see! Friendly and clean

A very nice hotel. We are a family of 4. 2 teenagers. We all had a bed in our 2 queen plus sofa bed room. Neat, clean with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast area with plenty of room and food. Soft towels, comfortable beds, and climate controlled. They do charge a $20/ night incidentals fee but will reimburse you if don't break things. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
